Well, ever since I turned 18 in December, life's been better to me. Asides from school, anyways. Being 18 gifted me with a girlfriend, who came to me out some chaotic mush I had created.

Even tho I'm celibate, I've always felt that what little contact I had with my gf came about naturally and spontaneously. So, I figure when the time came, I'd know what to do... and we'd both learn about each other as we went along, experimenting and exploring...

How'd I miss this thread? Well, first of all, it's pretty natural to be a bit eager. Try not to think TOO much about what to do when having sex, it doesn't need to be overcomplicated. As Val said, communication is key, and be sure to have fun. Sex doesn't have to be extremely serious.

Sums it up perfectly. You're 18....use protection, protection, protection. You don't wanna be a daddy this early in life. Others may have a different opinion, but I stick to well known condom brands. I remember using some no-name brand way back when I was in high school and it broke on me (of course, any condom is prone to doing so, but the brands I use now haven't failed me yet....knock on wood). Like Val said, use a condom with nonoxynol-9, the best spermicide (spermicides kill the sperm before they can enter the vaginal canal). out there. HAving her use a spermicidal cream , foam, or suppository is a good idea as well. That combo is about 98% effective in preventing conception (assuming she is not on OC's yet). THe condom will help reduce the risk of spreading herpes, AIDS, and the dozen or so forms of VD.
