Well, I just arrived home from my first NEST! I wanted to start a thread while so many memories are still fresh in my mind.
I am a newbie....and a woman....and a lee, at least I thought I was a 'lee when I arrived! I had many revelations this weekend not only about myself but the men and women that compose our community. In the end, this weekend was about the people I met and the people I became re-aquainted with. Yes, I attended the classes and learned about rope bondage and aftercare but for me, what this weekend boiled down to was the relationships.
Johnmath and Kittentoes....wow, such beauty and power and graciousness. Entertaining and intertwined with one another, they provided this newbie with information and a sense of security and belonging. How I hope to see these two again....
LeeAllure. Now I knew this lady was a real sweetheart before I met her. What I didn't know was that she pretty much organised this event by herself. This was no small undertaking. She is friendly, competant and truly giving. She took charge when it was needed and just became one of the crowd the rest of the time....no grand-standing here! She is lovely.... I hope I get to know her better someday.
I met some veterans...... Bugman, Kered, Pokey and A. (can't remember his forum name) A pleasure to meet these guys. Tickleshotel is another TMF guru I had the pleasure to meet. What a gentle soul she is. A tall, dark and handsome DM turned out be quite the gentle giant...at least he was with me!
I transformed into a viscious 'ler with none other than Classy. Others, a gentleman from Pittsburg named "The Director"...🙂..I spent some very special time with this interesting man. I met a free spirit with bright pink hair and a few Canadian brothers, the hypnotist, the wrestler and my adopted little brother "R". What a soft spot I developed for this young man....I will miss you!
I met an "Oddball" who really isn't so odd afterall..🙂 and a motorcycle man named Mike.....he's a wildman who took me for a spin in Phili.... cheese steaks for breakfast, why not!...🙂
Capnmad, Bride of Dracula, Greg, and a very sweet lady named "C" were the first to greet me. It was great to see familiar faces when I arrived, not to mention comforting. I met Max Speer and MTP Jeff. What can I say about that! Two "real" men both humble, playful and friendly, just one of the gang. Viper.....what can I say about this guy! I had breakfast with him one morning. He is truly awesome....too many ways to count.
BELLA is a force to be reckoned with...🙂 Her name is telling not only of her physical beauty but her presence. She is intelligent and funny. If there is a message to deliver, Bella is da bomb!
In closing, I am so glad I went. New folks, no worries. Many walks of life are represented here, all with one, two or many things in common. The experience is what YOU are ready to make of it. All who attend are accepted without condition. Respect is abundant and fun is the name of the game....it was good.
I'm exhausted now...time for sleep. I know I'll be thinking about my friends tonight as drift to sleep...with a BIG smile on my face....😀
