I just saw that Edgerin James signed with the Cardinals and that the Browns have added a few more people. I must say, I am glad to see teams such as the Cards and Browns try hard to become competitive. I'm glad they got the CBA done and will keep the league competitive. I had heard the NFLPA say a few times before that they would never have another salary cap if it didnt get done and thats coming from a Cowboys fan. Saw the Redskins also have signed Randle-El. That offense, unfortunately, is looking sharp right now. I'm just glad they got all the BS over with.

Amen to that fiend. I am glad they got the BS over with too. What does Edgerin do for the Cardinals??? The Cards play good defense but they were never really able to score. This could be HUGE for the Cardinals.

Take a look at Arringtons and Shipps numbers last year and youll see that there was a lot wrong. Even if they signed Edge to fill seats it was a good move. Now they need to bulk up their O-Line.

You got a team averaging 270 yards through the air and in the words of their coach (Green) facing 5 men in the box maybe 6 and that line cant get a block off. No doubt that Edge is an up grade for the cards and about time they spend some $$$$ they got the building blocks to be a force in the future.......but about J.J and Shipp, you got a rookie playing in a entire new system to that he had in college but averaged somewhere near 3.5 a carry then you have Shipp who is more of a FB coming off leg and ankle injuries to soon running between the tackles (and we know what a joke they were) averaging only 2.8 yards obviously the blame is shared but with that line last year I dont think even Portis or L.T could run behind it.

I think the 49ers move to get Bryant was one the best things this team could have done, now if he plays to his ability Smith will have someone to throw to.

I was surprised that Jamal Lewis went back to the Ravens after last years performance of a spoilt child (playing soft because he had no deal) but even more surprised they took him back.

Damn Raiders nothing yet ..................plus I keep on having these nightmares that they sign Josh McCown as their big off season to save the franchise then I wake up in a cold sweat only to find they have done nothing (which in that scenario is good but in general bad ) personally for the Raiders to be able to compete again (not be a force or play offs maybe 8-8) they only need a QB, LB and a safety........*snap* LaVar Arrington *snap* Culpepper *snap* um about the safety maybe the draft.....

I must apologies to TMF member who were stunned and shocked to hear a curse word echo through their home minutes ago.

A 2nd round pick just a 2nd round pick. This is what the Raiders has done with a 2nd round pick in recent times.

05 - Stanford Routt: high hope until teams 4th recievers burned him every down. To soon to call a bust - he has to start but..........
04 - Jack Grove: moved to guard and struggles moved to centre struggled. BUST.
03 - Teyo Johnson: He went to the cards cause he couldn't beat out a 7th round pick in training camp. BUST (Also in 03 the Raiders had 2 1st Round picks Asomugha needs to be moved to FS and Brayton well he is a BUST)
02 - D Jolley BUST L Walker BUST
01 - Marques Tuiasosopo: BUST BUST BUST he was worse then Kerry Collins
00 - This was the only decent 2nd round pick in the last 6 drafts, Jerry Porter and he is only a solid 2nd reciever.

Like do I have to continue they have drafted crap just crap with their 2nd rounders yet for a chance to be able to challenge teams in their own division all they needed to do was ship that pick for Culpepper.

Yay again I can look forward to another f**ked up draft from the Raiders, S**t free agents being brought in. Well I guess its the time that I change teams to where Charles Woodson ends up.............

OK OK OK, the Raiders do something remotely good in signing guard Toniu Fonoti, now I think that is good didn't cost much but at least now that o-line can built - the pieces are there but finding the right position will be hard; Gallery, Sims, Walker, Grove and now Fonoti some thing that at least looks like a solid line can be formed.

As I said at the start they do something like half good then they go like six thousand steps back by bringing in McCown in for an interview (my nightmares are coming true like WTF) and move that my hands are hating (wouldn't stop hitting my punching bag when I heard this) that Kerry Collins is coming back to talk contract re-structure now why why why why on earth can they even think about doing this. There are options available instead of either of them.

Also they still haven't even looked at that D yet C Wood going (they should re-sign him he gives some respect to that D) leaves holes in that secondary that anyone could run through along with no linebackers to cover or blitz or even tackle anyone.

Like I just dont understand what they are doing the likes of Arrington and Petterson are sitting in free agency land when one or the other could come in and make a massive impact on that defense then with the no.7 pick take Young (or Cutler depends which one is available) then in the second round take a safety or they could even take safety Michael Huff with the no.7 pick and then take Omar Jacobs from Bowling Green if he is available, there are so many things they can do instead of Collins or McCown...............

Really I'm just hoping C Wood ends up some where good so I can go for some one with a half a hope.

i feel you pain, when mike martz was the coach here we had 3, let me say it again 3 1st round picks in the same year, all of them sucked and just sign with other teams, thank god.

The following year we had 2 first rounders, they have not seen the field yet. We had Marshall sitting on the sideline looking, he can't run as fast as he use to be he is still a good back.

We didn't have fullback period, we had 3 Tight ends only one could block, and he mess up his knee 2 weeks in the season, the other 2 could catch at least but none of the play included a catching tight end. Bruce, went down with turf toe , and the QB got hit soooo many times he thought he was Steve Young and Troy Akman at the same time.

I'm soooooo glad he Detriot problem now.

I respect the passion you Texans have for football, its like baseball up here but you are terrified of us deep down. You remember what Jeremy Shockey did you last time we met. How about Julius Jones? Theres a laugh! Hes right up there with Chad Pennington on the "could get hurt playing video game football" list. You see you have to understand Eli had 24 touchdowns with 17 INTS and about 3500 yards. That was his first full year starting and he led them to the playoffs. Carson Palmer had similar stats his first full year and Peyton tossed a lot of pics his first 2 years too. Next year Eli will be better at dumpoff passes and reading defenses which he already displays a great talent for. Your team the Cowgirls gets routinely smashed by the Giants because our old coach is more interested in old wide recievers and fat defensive ends. You know deep down in your heart the the Giants have a far better team than the Cowgirls. I mean you criticize Eli and your QB is DREW BLEDSOE????? Well see in september my friend. Hmm the Browns go it again by getting McGinest, I just hope there not signing busts; thats all that team needs to have a lot of dead cap money in the future.

Also I just learnt that the only player the Raiders had signed failed his physical cause he was like 400 pounds...............I see nothing has changed with Oakland, I see a long 3-13 season.

Aaron Glenn is good and Plax is there to give Eli weapons...he was the best wideout in the market and BigBlue should be commended for signing him. He was the main reason for Elis successful first year. Some people are already calling Eli the next Ryan Leaf after a fine season that he had in his first full year. I think Eli has only his first playoff game to ashamed of thats it. But then again Rothisberger sucked in the RefereeBowl didnt he? And he was injured a lot of the year. Is he a flop too?
