I've been saying this for 3-4 weeks now, but here it is again:

Eagles-Chargers.

Other than that, I would LOVE to see Pack-Vikes III w/the Pack winning it. Favre deserves it.

Can't take you seriously. You aren't objective. Where there is no objectivity there is no creditibility. I mean if all your picks are Dallas winning, you aren't being objective. You are being a fan.

Dallas is going to beat playoff tested Philadelphia who has NEVER lost a first round playoff game under Reid. I might buy that. Then Dallas is going to Minnesota and beat the Vikings. I would actually like that. Then they are going to beat a playoff battle tested Arizona team and then beat the equally battle tested Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl?

So let's see if I have this right...you haven't won a playoff game since 1996 and you expect them to win four all at once? Now if I said that about the Jets, I would be considered crazy...and my team HAS won playoff games since 1996. So where is your creditibility here?

For once be objective and not a fan. Because your predictions are crazy.

The Jets aren't as talented as the Cowboys. Any Jets team that won a playoff game is not the current team.

Dallas has proven that they are capable of beating the best teams that the NFC has to offer. Winning a playoff game is something the current team has to accomplish, but not winning a playoff game the past three years is not a reason to dismiss their chances at winning it all. The Cardinals hadn't proved anything before last years playoff run.

Hmmm...let's see.

Wild Card

Cincy over the Jets. The Sunday Night game was an aberration, not a display. In Cincy...the Bengals roll once they get a little ahead and New York has to rely on Sanchez.

Dallas over Philly. While I hate to say it, and would love this game to go the other way...Dallas is coming in hot. The Cowboys can beat almost anyone when hot, and can be beat by anyone if not. The hot streak will carry over against Philly, although it will be close.

Baltimore over New England. No Wes Welker? No defense or faith in the defense? The Pats go down. Not that Baltimore's much better, but they are gonna throw the kitchen sink at Brady, who'll have few reliable options. A key turnover should decide this one.

Green Bay over Arizona. Of course, the Cards could go on a sudden tear like they did last year, but I don't see it. Green Bay is far more balanced than people give them credit for, and way under the radar. Defense is solid enough to contain an offense that may be missing Boldin as a weapon.

Divisional

Indianapolis over Baltimore. Ravens have enough to get past New England...not Indy. Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis should get to Joe Flacco about six times.

Minnesota over Dallas. Hot streak ends in the Metrodome. Minny's got the best defensive line in the NFL, a lot of weapons and a battle-tested field general.

Cincy over San Diego. I know, I know....but doesn't everyone pick the top rated teams? And don't we have unexpected upsets EVERY single year? Here's one. Call it a gut feeling, but I think the Bengals ride the tide of their first playoff victory in decades.

Green Bay over New Orleans. Yep, another one. Mostly because I'm a Saints fan almost as much as I'm a Vikes fan...and there's no way the football gods are gonna give me that kind of win-win situation for the NFC championship game. Plus, the Saints have been showing cracks in the defensive armor, and have been going back to the "throw 60 times" approach after being balanced before they started to lose. Green Bay could come in and totally shock the Saints.

Championship

Minnesota over Green Bay. Third time's the charm. Minnesota will NOT lose in an unexpected home championship game. Not to the Packers. Minny matches up well against the Pack...the D-line can get to Aaron Rodgers around those tackles. Outside blitzes kill Green Bay. Minnesota gets to their first Super Bowl since the '76 season.

Cincinnati over Indianapolis. Upset of the Year. And someone's gotta call it. Mostly because I picked a Minny/Cincy Super Bowl for my official pick at mid-season, and why turn back now? In for a penny, in for a pound or some shit like that. Everyone picks the #1 or #2's...and they NEVER make for a top-seeded match-up in the Big Game. Plus, thinking with my head...Indy just has that way of winning a billion regular season games and then finding a way to fuck it up in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a Manning/Favre Super Bowl...we haven't had a game between two still-playing legends since the Bradshaw/Staubach days. While Indy should win this one, I gotta stay with my gut here and ride the horse I started with.

Super Bowl

Minnesota over Cincinnati. Not just a fan-pick, although that does honestly play into it. The window's been open for a couple years for Minny and now they have the one piece they've been missing. They will NOT blow this chance and Favre will go out a champion again. They're the most balanced team out there right now on both sides of the ball and for once, picking Minny is more head than heart.

Those are my picks...guess we'll see what happens. Playoffs are a crazy time. We've seen stranger happen. Arizona in the Super Bowl last year? The Eagles even making the playoffs, let alone coming within a couple plays of the SB? Who would have picked the 5-0 Giants or 6-0 Broncos missing the playoffs? Fun times ahead....

Let's see...when the Cowboys were 13-3 they didn't prove they were capable of beating the best teams? Because you had them going and winning the Super Bowl that year too! That is my point! You will always pick them without thinking can they beat Green Bay or can they beat Minnesota. And also...do you really think they can beat Peyton Manning when the chips are really down? I don't. And objective football fan doesn't.

All I ask is that you stop sucking the Cowboys off and be objective. Because they CAN'T beat Indianapolis and I have doubts they can beat San Diego.

By the way, it is not me hating because I have been defending Dallas on the radio show...I am just being realizistic.

I agree. Dallas can't beat Minnesota, Green Bay, Philadelphia, Arizona, New Orleans, Indianapolis, San Diego, New England, Cincinnati, New York or Baltimore. They haven't won a playoff game in thirteen-years, so they obviously won't ever win one again.

I didn't say that either. Now you are being a brat because you know you made your picks with the idea that Dallas was winning the Super Bowl. Not because they are that good but because you are a fan of the team.

As far as not winning for the last 13 years...it is a fact. But do I think they won't ever win another playoff team? No. That is why I called you a brat. I am just telling you to be fair. There are four or five playoff teams that could be hard for Dallas to beat. Not saying they can't...but it will be tough.

I am just being honest and fair. If Dallas wins it all...God Bless Them! But I am not sure that will happen this season. But I will say good luck to them.

As soon as the Dallas lovers stop sucking on lollypops! And it is actually me who doesn't agree with him. And since he started the thread it wouldn't be him disagreeing with me. So why don't you do something new and mind your own damn business and speak when you are spoken to.

Let me ask you something Flock...do you think that Dallas can actually run the table with two of those games being on the road? I am looking to be fair. You may now speak. 🙄

why not ? You have told me many many times I always am impartial and realistic with my views on my Cowboys . Why would that be any different now?

Depends on what team decides to show up . Easily get knocked out in 1st round or easily could make it to NFC Championship game .

Why CANT they beat Colts? They knocked off saints with no excuses of resting or saving players for playoffs.

By the way, who made you hall monitor ? 🙄

We have also talked many times about the fans of teams who run their mouths when they are going good. THAT my friend is not exclusive to Cowboys fans .

It's football, dudes. It's supposed to fun. 🙂

I can`t stand the Jets lover. And I tell him that at least once a week when we talk sports; or in his case he bitches about his teams. :peace: its a good thing we have the same cellphone provider. :zzzzz:

Not to be an ass, but the Pats are the #3 seed and cannot play the Colts in the Divisional Playoff round...switch them with the Bengals and the rest of the brackets work.

all i gotta say really is that whomever says the Chargers are going all the way are automatically wrong lol...

And Dallas played better this december than they have in recent years so their playoffs can be better too.

Okay, so I just gotta say i'm not good at doing the whole bracketing or the teams playing each other, but I'm gonig to try... I coppied someone elses and i'm going to change it to whom is going to win.. maybe i'll get it organized right lol

Yes folks...I dared to be different. But, at least, I stayed objective and didn't pick like a homer. Some of you out here can't say that. I, at least, know I can.
