Rather than see who thinks who is going to finish where, let's spice up the polls a bit. Who do you think is currently the biggest all-around asshole in our beloved sport? Here's who's in the running...

Keyshawn Johnson - "Gimme the Damn Ball"; Well, ok...hows about you actually score with it once in awhile before you start crying about the coaches, the management, the orginization, the concession stands, the QB and the cheerleaders? Have fun sitting the rest of the season out, and we hope you enjoy your future career in the Arena League.

Warren Sapp - From doing a dainty ballet through the opposing teams warm-ups to getting into it with a 60-year-old coach in public, then bitching about getting blocked, Warren's wearing out his welcome and could wind up looking for work with Keyshawn.

Terrell Owens - The Star. The Sharpie. The Pom-Poms. Need we go on? Oh, that's right...the Niner's record is all Jeff's fault. You know that Budweiser "True" commercial where the star player being interviewed places his teams failures solely on the shoulders of his "supporting cast"? They based that guy on Terrell.

Daniel Snyder - The Spoiled Little Rich Kid of the NFL. Hasn't taken a lesson from Jerry Jones or Al Davis yet about letting your staff run the football operations. 100 million dollars doesn't buy an automatic Lombardi Trophy, and crying about it doesn't help. Neither does pressuring your coach (one every two or three years) to make weekly QB, RB, WR and DB changes. Just sit in the luxury box and eat your shrimp....shrimp. And speaking of owners...

Al Davis - It's time for Al to go. Other than Joe Bugel, he's never hired a coach with previous head-coaching experience, lest he lose being the sole owner of the limelight. Handles every problem with lawsuits aimed at the NFL, the municipality, the city, the government and (give him time) the church.

Randy Moss - Almost didn't make this list, as he's mellowed a bit. But with the Vikes on a four-game losing streak, the old Randy is starting to rear up again. Doesn't "feel like" playing when they get behind, acts like a gangsta-rap thug off the field and was 90% of the reason Robert Smith (one of the great RB's in the league and the real star of the old Vikes) retired before his time.

Bill Romanowski - Do we need to list the reasons? This guy's just an all around asshole, sociopath, misogynist and I hear tell he hates puppies...

The Entire Special-Teams Unit of the New York Giants - No matter who they get or what they do, as soon as they put a blue uniform on, they can't kick, hold, snap, block, run, fake or stay down until the ball's snapped. If Morten Anderson can't help you out, you've got serious problems, and the G-Men refuse to upgrade the whole staff.

My vote has gotta go for Warren Sapp. Being a die hard Packer fan, the reasons for my choice should be obvious after the crap he pulled last season.

And it's not so much what he did ON the field that made me lose any sort of respect for him as an athlete....it's the fact he showed NO sign of remorse what-so-ever for his uncalled for actions, and for the severe injuries he inflicted.

Remember that kid in 5th grade who beat you up and stole your $.50 for lunch? Kids like that grow up into men like Warren Sapp. Loud mouthed bullies.

My vote is for Romanowski and Sapp. I HATE the Raiders, the entire team could seriously get hit by an extremely large truck and no one would care. Warren Sapp is just worhtless as a human being. He might have a fat enough ass to play football, but if there wasn't football in the world, he would be the first to be dragged outside and shot.

I've always hated Sapp. The funny part is, he isn't even that good. Overrated at best. Larry Allen would wipe the floor with him.

i went with Keyshawn Johnson. i NEVER liked the guy. this dates back to his days at a rival high school (he went to Dorsey High school in Los Angeles, CA). funny thing was, he didnt do a DAMN thing in high school. his high school days get mentioned because that 1990 Dorsey team featured 3 guys that played in the NFL. Keyshawn, a guy named Lamont Warren (Colorado, Indianapolis Colts), and Karim Abdul-Jabar (used to be known as Sharmon Shah; UCLA, Miami Dolphins). believe me, Keyshawn didnt do anything!!!

then he went to Southwest College, a JC, then he went to USC. he did good in college, but i always thought he was OVERRATED. then the little bastard went to the NY Jets as the #1 draft pick. he writes a book, but yet, he still hasnt done a DAMN thing in the NFL. it sickened me when he got a ring last year. the guy is a loudmouth punk, who really needs to be released from the NFL.

also, i got a chance to meet the guy. let's just say he wasnt very nice to me, which of course led me to despising him to this VERY day. i laugh at his misery....

I heard that Keyshawn was actually shocked. That had me giggling.
All of Dave2112's choices are good ones...I especially concur with his choice of Daniel Snyder. I've been a Skins fan for ever...and now the team is in the hands of an American Business version of some tinhorn South American dictator. They've become a laughingstock.

I think the biggest jerk is Terell Owens. I remember the shit he pulled in the playoff game last Jan and it was totally uncalled for. One asshole not mentioned was Shawn Williams for actually falling into his bait and costing his team 30 yards of field position AND getting tossed from the game on top of it.

Getting back to Owens. He is an arrogant jerk who whines if the ball is not thrown his way. I can see him being the author of "Just give me the damn ball II". Anybody carrying a sharpie in his sock is the epitome of arrogance. To me, the guy is telling you he is going to score a TD before he even walks out onto the field. Some people preceive it as confidence but to me is affords your opponent absolutely NO respect. You may believe it in your heart but don't add more fuel to the fire than you need to. My coaches over time was big on acting like you have been there before when you score a TD cuz it only shows up your opponent if you don't.

Also, in regard to the G mens special teams, I don't think that incompetence should be confused with being a jerk. Granted they suck, but thats it.

Yeah, I know...I just needed an 8th for the poll and it was getting late. 😀 I thought about Fassell ("I'm gonna quit if we lose", then they do and he don't...blaming everyone but his own playcalling, etc.) but I chalked that up to frustration given the good he has done for the team in the past.
