Washington had a chance to win the game outright or at least send it to OT until Josh Johnson tossed two interceptions, one a pick six, in the last 1:17. Up to that point he turned in a solid if unspectacular performance. With this 25-16 loss the 'Skins can pack it in and start planning for next season.

Up next Baltimore takes on the Chargers on their home turf. Go Ravens!

Yes, GO RAVENS!! With a Ravens win tonight, the Chiefs may play a little more relaxed versus Seattle tomorrow night knowing they can win the division with a win.

The odd thing is, if the Chargers host a playoff game, will they do it in a 26,000 seat soccer stadium or will they move it to UCLA or USC?

I imagine other owners hate going to StubHub since the visiting team gets a cut of the gate. With any luck it won't come to that.

Thank you Baltimore Ravens! A great road win for the Ravens. The Chiefs can now wrap up the AFC West with a win in Seattle Sunday night. 😀

Thank you Baltimore Ravens!!! Your victory has allowed us to go into Seattle tomorrow and take care of business and wrap up the division.

Real tough loss for my Redskins, but I'm honestly not that upset. Despite us still being alive, I expect us to be officially eliminated by this time tomorrow. The odds just seem too stacked against us now. And they were pretty stacked going into the game today. Big ups to Josh Johnson though. This is a guy who hadn't played in 7 years, and is playing with am injury riddled offense. I was critical of the signing of him, but he's has us competitive in games against two top 10 defenses. I know the Jaguars are a mess, but their defense is still legit. Depending on what happens with Smith and McCoy, I can see Johnson coming for next season and competing not only for a roster spot, but a starting job. I'm just picturing him under center with an offense that actually has all it's pieces. Also, congratulations to Adrian Peterson on getting his 1000 yards. I'm not usually into milestones like that because 1000 yards so regular, but everyone completely wrote him off in the offseason. He's clearly shown that he's got plenty of gas left. And he's had a number of games this season where his numbers were bad because the Redskins were playing from behind and had to totally abandon the run. So he could easily have another possible 200+ rushing yards to his total if not for those lopsided losses. I hope he's back in 2019.

The Ravens have their QB, and so far the formula is working. Sure he's gonna have to start throwing more and he does need to improve in some areas, but not everyone is gonna burst onto the scene like Pat Mahomes. Jackson's not out there making brain-dead mistakes. But the way people talk about him, you'd think he was throwing 2-3 picks per game and somehow winning despite of that.

The thing with the Ravens is that they were a throwing team with Flacco, that's not Jackson's forte. Now they run 70% of the time. In a way he's like Michael Vick, if the quick throw isn't there, he prefers to pull it down and run. He's not looking to pass, he makes plays with his legs.

Until Washington signed him I'd never heard of Johnson that I can recall. With Smith unlikely to be ready at the start of the 2019 season I can see Johnson competing for the starting job.

If Jackson can avoid the injury bug he's going to be fun to watch. And yeah, he can sling the ball. I refer everyone to going 98 yards for a touchdown on two pass plays. Pretty sure even Mahomes hasn't managed that.
