Hey all just a quick post...
The 2004 NFL schedule is out!

Being and Eagles fan I personally can't wait for the season to start with "The Freak" on one side and T.O. on the other side...
Should be a great year!!
16-0 baby...yeah right...

Why no Monday night televised primetime games for the 9ers?

XOXO

Steph, I hate to be the one to tell you this but the 80's are over...😉
Your 9'ers are going into the "rebuilding" phase...which MNF tries to avoid...

I an psyched about the idea of getting Eli Manning. From what I understand, he is supposed to be better than Peyton. One point though, with a patchwork offensive line, you could put Johnny Unitas behind center and he would either be sacked or hurried on every play.

It would be an honor and a pleasure. (I'll bring the peaches and cream too if ya want...😉)

XOXO

Well, at least the Boys' know we have two games that we will win for sure: whenever we play the Skins' hahahaha

as much as i am a buffalo bills fan,i really feel ambivalent towards their schedule...i mean of course i want them to win but i think they have alot of "who cares" games in their schedule.

...although with parity, those games could be huge by the time they're played. This is why I think the Monday Night Football schedule should be fluid. Say, wait five weeks, then decide a few weeks ahead of time which of that week's games will be a night game. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass with no real way to make it work, but it would be cool. They schedule games that look good before the season starts, then by the time they get to the "Big" Eagles/Colts game or whatever, both teams are 3-7 or something.

Not a bad idea. The whole idea of primetime viewing is for increased ratings. I remember last year the Giants were scheduled to play a couple of games being they were almost assured of getting into the play offs be4 the season even started.

Well we all knew what happened last year with injuries and futility. By the time the games came around, it looks like a good college team could have beaten them.

Increased public interest is the name of the game and seeing hoe the games unfold during the season would assure the best teams will be showcased.
