NFL Week 1

I don't get the Jets. I know they're supposed to have a run first mentality, but it was as if they couldn't get out of their own way. And either the Ravens' secondary is better than advertised or the Jets just weren't equipped get the ball down the field.

Plenty of teams struggled on offense in week 1 that you just know will bounce back and have a fine season... Dallas, New Orleans, Indy, etc. But I don't know that the Jets are one of them because they have too much work to do.

On a side note, what happened to the Chargers??

Oh and also....who else thinks that the Detroit Lions got completely hosed today?

Yes they def got hosed...but like someone said it was because of a horrible rule, not a bad call. Only the Lions could lose a game like that.

I hope that not everyone freaks out after 1 week...the first week doesn't reflect your teams true colors I don't believe. Evaluate after 4 weeks, if you so choose to, freak out then 🙂

Only in the NFL can they make a catch harder to figure out than it is to win the lottery. I mean if it looks like a duck and quack like a duck and walks like a duck we aren't calling it a hen.

So if it looks like a catch...and he holds it all the way to the ground, then call it a catch. Only in the NFL can a catch not be a catch. That is pretty sad. 🙁

Eight weeks is safer and sometimes that's not even enough time. It really takes the entire season to evaluate a team.

Denver was a top team in the first-half of last season and faltered down the stretch. Tennessee couldn't win to start the season and played the second half as good as any team.

I don't think the cowboys will ever go far with Romo. He reminds me too much
of Danny White.

Haha, the sad part is that definition of the rule is about accurate.

Romo won't be to blame if Dallas never reaches/wins a Super Bowl during his time as QB. Romo has shown a steady maturation over the years. He's as capable as any other QB.
