In a full slate of games with playoff implications the action did not disappoint.

The week began on Thursday with the Bears over Detroit 24-20 and NO beating the Falcons 26-18. The most enjoyable game for me was watching Dallas lose to Buffalo 26-15. At 9-3 the Bills have a two game lead for the top AFC wildcard seed.

The 49ers-Ravens game lived up to the hype with Baltimore coming out on top 20-17.

The Chiefs took the hated Raiders to the woodshed 40-9 and took a major step towards locking up the AFC West crown. KC dominated in all three phases of the game and it's worth noting the one penalty flag against them was negated by a penalty against Oakland on the same play.

The Browns already slim postseason hopes suffered what may be a fatal blow, losing to the Steelers 20-13.

The Bengals will not go 0-16 as they beat the Jets 22-6.

Since going with Ryan Tannehill at QB the Titans are 4-1 with a 31-13 win over the Colts and very much in the postseason hunt.

Washington picks up win number 3 for the season over the Panthers 29-21.

With snow falling in New Jersey the Packers felt right at home on the way to a 31-13 win over the Giants.

Nick Foles was benched after an interception and two lost fumbles in the first half but it made no difference. Bucs 28 Jags 11.

The Eagles fall to a suddenly feisty Dolphins team 37-31.

Rams 34 Arizona 7.

The Chargers, in what could be the final season in the storied career of Philip Rivers lose to Denver 23-20 on a last second field goal.

Thanks to the Texans for knocking off the Evil Empire 28-22. 😀

The MNF game was a wild one with the Vikings taking an early lead, imploding in the 3rd quarter and then mounting a comeback effort that came up short 37-30. With the Seattle win the 49ers drop from the No. 2 to the No. 5 seed. The NFC West title may not be decided until Week 17.
