It's defcon 2 here in DC after that performance. Fans are calling for heads. Only reason it's not defcon 1 yet is because the season is near it's end, and fans expect changes to be made. If they aren't made, then it'll be defcon 1. GM Bruce Allen is the unanimous target. Fans want him gone immediately. HC Jay Grudens favorably certainly has dropped, but the fans seem to be split on him. Because the past two seasons have just been shitty luck. Last season the defense was decimated by injuries, and this year it's the offense that's been decimated by injuries. Still, there are issues when the coaching just hasn't been what it needs to be. And the defense, which miraculously has remained healthy this season, has totally fallen apart over the last three games. So while I wouldn't be upset if Gruden returned, I'm not sure if him being bit hard by the injury bug will save him. To me, if they fire him, they had better have someone at the ready. Like Oakland had Jon Gruden as a done deal behind the scenes before last season even ended.
And with Alex Smith unlikely to be ready for 2019 according to the reports, drafting a QB has to be a priority now. We can't go into 2019 with no young gun on the roster. If anything plays into our favor, many QB needy teams addressed the need back in April during the draft. So going into the 2019 draft, the number of QB needy teams aren't gonna be as high as they were going into the 2018 draft.

As far as the rest of the league goes,
The Panthers have totally collapsed. One more loss and I think they'll be officially dead.
The Packers mathematically kept their hopes alive, but the cards are too stacked against them. Even if they win out, they still need tons of help.
The Patriots outsmarted themselves, but they're still gonna end up winning their division for the umpteenth time.
The Cowboys are gonna take the NFC East, and as much as it pains me to say it, the Amari Cooper trade looks brilliant.
The Bears look like geniuses for going after Khalil Mack the way they did. By himself, he's transformed a defensive unit into an elite group.
The Ravens have their QB. Eventhough they lost to the Chiefs, Lamar Jackson if healthy has to be the starter for the rest of the year.
The Road to the Superbowl for the NFC at the moment looks to be going through New Orleans.
