Thanks to the Eagles for knocking off Houston 32-30 on a last second field goal. 😀 This makes a Chiefs win tonight even more important.

Jaguars over Miami 17-7. Tannehill can't stay healthy and assuming Wentz is ready to go next year the Eagles won't pay Foles a cool $20 million as a backup. Could he be wearing a Dolphins jersey next year?

The Vikings are still in the Wild Card hunt with a 27-9 win over the Lions.

Falcons over Carolina 24-10. If they were not already, the Panthers are now a dumpster fire but it looks like Ron Rivera will keep his job.

The Giants almost pulled off a big upset but the Colts pull out a 28-27 win.

The Browns rubbed Hue Jackson's nose in it again 26-18 over the Bengals.

Cowboys over Tampa Bay 27-20. After the second play of the game Dallas DL Tyrone Crawford was taken off the field on a cart and sent to a hospital for evaluation of a neck injury. The good news is he was moving his arms and legs. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. Good news. Crawford is home from the hospital and will be fine.

Patriots over Buffalo 24-12.

It took OT to do it but the Packers get their first and only road win of the season 44-38 over the Jets.

In another wild finish the Saints come from behind to beat Pittsburgh 31-28. With this loss the Steelers playoff hopes hang by a thread.

The Bears hold off a feisty 49ers squad 14-9.

The Rams get their offense back on track 31-9 over the Cardinals. Reports indicate head coach Steve Wilks will be fired soon.

It's amazing how many games today went down to the wire. I thought the Saints-Steelers game was never going to end.

It was great to see Aaron Rodgers smile again. He looked like he was having fun.

It would have been nice to see the Browns make the playoffs, but the season they have had makes me optimistic for their future.

I hope the Chiefs can pull off a victory. Tough having to go into Seattle, but they are killing themselves with penalties and turnovers. Good news is they can still win the division and a first round by with a win next week.

Once again the Chiefs fail to take care of business, and once again defensive penalties and missed tackles are a big factor. The season finale against the Raiders at Arrowhead is now a must win. They will have to pull out all the stops because Oakland would like nothing better than to play spoiler. FIRE Bob Sutton! I'm sick of this!

I said it last week, the Chiefs defense will be their downfall. The Chiefs are their best when they jump on and bury the opponent early. But in close contests, they can't count on that defense when it matters. Yeah tonight they were without some players on defense, but even their regular starters for the most part haven't been making plays when it mattered most. All of the Chiefs losses have come against playoff teams in close games. And chances are, they're gonna get these type of games in the playoffs regardless of who they play.

The Steelers playoff hopes I think died today. Not only do they have to win next week, but the Ravens has to lose. And there's probably no hotter team in the AFC right now than the Ravens. Steelers fans are at least for this week, gonna be part-time Browns fans. Speaking of the Browns, I think that's gotta be the biggest surprise on 2018. I wouldn't have believed it if someone told me that after 16 games, the Browns would have 7 wins. I thought that if they won 4-5 games for the season, that'd be a sign that they're headed in the right direction. But looking at the Browns now, their fans have to be ecstatic about 2019. Still, I don't see them beating the Ravens next week.

I didn't expect Eric Berry to be a miracle worker, but I thought having him back might give the defense a boost but it hasn't happened yet.

The Steelers are toast. They can start planning vacations. No doubt Cleveland is the story of the year in the NFL. Their turnaround since Jackson got the boot has been something to watch.

It won't surprise me if the Ravens come out on top in the AFC. Their offense isn't explosive but they chew up yards and clock time like I haven't seen in years. And nobody want's to face that defense in the playoffs.

The Broncos fell flat on their faces tonight. In every Denver game I've seen this season, despite their woes they played hard nosed, competitive football. Tonight the Raiders treated them like a hungry Doberman treats a prime rib. The defense in particular looked like they can't wait for the season to be over. I hope the Chiefs were watching and taking notes because Oakland will come to Arrowhead loaded for bear. And Vance Joseph should probably work on fluffing up his resume.
