Pending tonight's MNF game, week 2 is wrapping up and not many qustions from week 1 were answered.

First off, the Boys and Vikes both start the year 0-2, and a pretty bad 0-2 a that. The Vikings did playthe defending champs and a tough defense in Miama, but with the hype and playing Miami at home, not many saw this coming. It is hard to believe that the Cowboys are not already 6-0 with the hype coming out of Dallas this offseason, but I guess the hapless Bears are a little better than a lot of people thought.

The Steelers are 2-0 now w/o Big Ben or Dixon for a lot of the second game :Grrr: and it looks like Randle-El better start warming up his throwing arm. I was really surprised of the butt kicking they gave the Tennessee Johnsons.

The Seahawks came back to Earth the bad way while teams like San Diego and the Jets came back to where they are supposed to be in the good way. Looks like the Jets did not need to pay Revis after all and Sanchez had the best game of his career to down the Pats.

There is a lot more that went down week 2 so let's hear it!

- Michael Vick was impressive, though I think Andy Reid is doing the right thing by putting Kolb back in. He can always bench him if he fails to perform, and the Eagles will be playing a Jaguars team that I personally think has only 5 or 6 wins coming this season.

- Even with Hill at QB, the Lions are going to win some games this year. That Jahvid Best looks like a stud.

- Turnovers will kill you, even if you've got the better stats. Just ask Dallas, Minnesota, Tennessee and Baltimore yesterday.

- Houston looks like it has potential to finally make it to the playoffs. But I want to see how they handle success against a good and desperate 0-2 team next weekend against Dallas.

- Everyone in the NFC East has at least one loss already and a Super Bowl favorite has 2. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like in 2 weeks.

- I'm happy for Kansas City and Tampa Bay, I really am. But I can't imagine either one of them with more than 7 wins this year. Still, they're improving.

Joe Flacco shit the bed

You sure that was Flacco? I have it on good authority that Elvis Grbac assaulted Joe before the game, locked him in a janitor's closet and took the field in his stead. But seriously... yeah, Flacco laid a giant egg yesterday. Very disappointing.

:roflmao:

Good post. Flacco was garbage. Pacman had a great pick stealing it from Boldin, but the rest of the interceptions were right to Cincinnati.

On another note. Cincinnati won, but Carson Palmer was very mediocre. He missed Chad wide open in the end zone when it could have been 10-0. He completed less than 50% of his passes and did not move the ball much. The turnovers and kick return from Scott set the Bengals in good field position most of the game. Palmer needs to step it up if they want to continue winning games.

Kansas City has shown improvement to me more than any other team. They have an excllent running game, a QB with some experience that has proved he is capable, and a tough home stadium to play in. If they beat SD in SD then I think they have a legit chance at making the playoffs. I know it is early but they look good.
