- If he stays healthy, I think Michael Vick will lead the Eagles to the playoffs again. I wouldn't be shocked to see them win the NFC East.

- The Steelers are going to be scary when Ben Rothelisberger gets back into the lineup, as if starting 3-0 without him wasn't scary enough. Only a repeat injury to Polumalu can keep them from another division title.

- It looks like Houston still isn't quite ready for primetime. Defense wins titles, guys.

- Give Saint Louis credit for hanging in; I was thinking when the Redskins had the lead that they'd cruise. What could have been a big time NFC East tilt with McNabb going back to Philly now looks like to be a game of two teams heading in opposite directions.

- I still don't know what to make of Kansas City. I think 10-6 would make an awesome achievement, but I'm not sure they're ready.

I apologize for not taking part in this weeks pool..had some issues.

However, the Chiefs' defense, special teams AND nooowww offense are now clicking. Reasons:

Romeo Crennel and Charlie Weis. The next game against Indy will show why Peyton had problems with New England during the post season. Romeo Crennel had his number. This one is winnable by the Chiefs but not by a huge margin.

Super Bowl contenders? Maybe a wildcard berth. San Diego will recover. Denver...uh no. Oakland? :roflmao:

Oakland... yeah, that finish against Arizona was horrible. I felt bad for Janikowski. Wins for those teams are going to be difficult to come by this year, so it was kind of wrenching for the game to end that way.

SamuelKhan, nothing too serious, I hope?

How does Big Ben make the Steelers' better exactly? He hasn't been with the team, nor able to be at the facilities, so he's not in "game" shape or up to speed with anything they are doing. If anything I see one of the main reasons, other then their defense, of their success is not having the distraction of Ben.

Lets see how KC does playing in Indy and Houston. They likely could sneak into the playoffs with such a weak schedule.

The real bears are 3-0 I guess the world really is going to end next year.

Ty Law had his number, lets not crown Brandon Flowers just yet shall we.... :objection:

If things don't turn around, I can see Seattle winning their division. What's happened to the 49ers?

I'd love that, but as a Seattle fan I will be reluctant to put any expectations on them until they've made it to the playoffs haha. Regardless of the sport, we always hear about how our teams in Seattle have a chance and it always ends in misery :/

But 2-1 with 2 wins that everyone predicted as losses, I am happy. :]

The NFC West is up for grabs, so Seattle has as good a chance as anyone. 🙂 But as for the 49ers, they struggled badly in both road games and played like winners at home and lost by a whisker to the defending champs. Maybe they just don't travel well?

I don't think the Bears are going back to the Super Bowl. But they just beat a Packers team who lost because of lots of penalties and a few turnovers, and are going to play a Giants team who has been having issues with penalties and turnovers recently. That's just got to favor Chicago going 4-0.

At this point, I can only hope that the Panthers fail so hard this season that they end up with the top draft pick for next year. They're going to need it... (and a lot more).
