There is now no hope that the Dodgers will win the 2021 World Series. That is because the Dodgers won their 100[sup]th[/sup] game yesterday.

All eight times in the past when the Dodgers won 100 or more games in the regular season, they did not go on to win the World Series:


2019: 106-56 Lost NLDS to the Nationals.
2017: 104-58 Lost World Series to the Astros.
