That's the general gist of it! Funny how hard this is to grasp with people.

Think I contributed earlier to this thread and said I'd just rather avoid drama, as it all seemed to be getting pretty heated at the time, but, I think it was something about..."are there any non-boring chicks around? because if so, I can't find them here..." or something like that. Maybe I should go back and read it, but I think that was the gist of it. I will say yeah, it is hard on the net, for sure. I have trouble getting out and about in real life and meeting people, but once I manage to make some kind of connection, people don't think I'm boring, not at all. I personally think there are many "non-boring", "chicks", out there, yeah! They're everywhere, including on this site. I think it's a matter of what you put out, how it's done, WHEN it's done, and are they even available??? What is their preference??? I mean, so many factors play into it, right?

Chicks? I never use the word myself. I'm just wondering if that frame of thought may have anything to do with it right there...I mean, is the word; "chick", in referring to a female, acceptable? I always assumed that it wasn't, but then things change, so maybe it is NOW, I don't know. But I get the feeling it's a sign of disrespect.

So I said I'd sooner avoid drama, but I'm not trying to insult the person who started this thread either; I'm just giving my honest opinion.

It is disrespectful to a degree, but it's probably measurably more disrespectful for OP to think in a couple of thousand people around him in real life that he can't bring up this obsession with physical contact (What the fetish was referred to as from an ex-girlfriend, for the record); the forum isn't really the love-shack, I don't think it ever really was considering I was an OG poster not far from when this site started up (I guess my online presence started somewhere around 2000) and I didn't really see a ton of "action" happening. I mean, we want to talk about online being so great....uh, the "golden age" was really myspace in my early dating years, so what does that say? I mean, yea, there's "boring chicks", but if you're thinking about a gaggle of people you basically tried....think about the billions that are on the globe that aren't "boring"!

And it pisses a lot of guys (myself included) off. Meanwhile, this is "the place" for them, and tickling is still the point in focus, in a forum that aims to remove this obstacle of "getting out there and tickling people" and emphasize "meeting people". Like how distracted are we to miss that point, coming to the conclusion that we've gotta meet "non-boring chicks"? Like the personals section, you gotta think logistically or from a woman's point of view (coming from a hard-headed guy's brain): "What else is there?" after the air is cleared.

I hope I'm not bothering anyone resurrecting a thread that seemed to have ended.

No, not bothering ME at least. But I will say I better not say any more other than I don't have a full understanding of the whole thing. I haven't done much dating because of my low self esteem and social anxiety issues, so I really don't have a clear picture of what the world is like other than my own observations, rather than being a part of it. Many threads I comment on are just because they come up at the top of my profile when my friends contribute to them, and this was one of them.
