I never understood the whole buried in sand thing.
How hard is it to bust out of sand? Even wet, how heavy can be?

A cubic foot of sand 12 x12 x12 weights 100lbs, if its wet it weighs more.
If you bury them the right way they cant escape. If you lay them down and brush sand over them, even several inches that wont work. This video was not buried to effectively tickle someones feet obviously they were just having spur of moment fun.

For starters, she sat on his chest and leaned back to his feet.
He also looked to be buried pretty deep, especially blow his waist.
Plus ... he was screaming from the second she touched him, ... and noticeably drained the poor guy of energy within a minute or two or three or .....
All those matter.

we have done it face down laying on the front with head sticking out resting on a towel and feet sticking up behind them so they are much deeper in it and the feet are in a better position

I've never tried it but have read the best way to bury someone in the sand, in order to tickle his or her feet, is to dig a deep, narrow hole and sit the victim in it knees-to chest, arms to side - that way with so little leverage, he or she would have trouble trying to climb out. Then bury the person so only his or her feet and head are above the sand. I guess wet sand would limit mobility better than dry.
This girl here, while a small-looking woman, uses her weight along with the sand to victimize her ticklee. Plus, maybe getting tickled drains him of energy; most ticklees involuntarily try to fend you off, but I've had a couple who essentially collapsed as if their muscles went on strike. And, finally, he may like it and thus does his best not to resist her. I'm a dominant tickler by nature but must admit I'd let her have her way with me, albeit with revenge in mind!

That was pretty funny when he screamed "WHYYYYY???" 
being tickled when buried in the sand it is possible to do it so it is hard for the buried person to escape but that requires some effort and what I've seen and done first hand is usually easily escapable but still fun. Tickled when buried in the sand is one of those lovely tickling fantasies right along with being tickled by feathers and shoe dangling as a foot tease that makes great stories but in reality it is a minority who a) are truly buried in the sand and completely unable to break free when tickled or b) are truly tickled into hysterics by a feather or c) every woman who dangles her shoe is doing it to flirt and tease. Wonderful for the photos and fantasies. Reality is something else entirely but still fun. BTW with sand burial the easiest way to keep the buried person immobile is to have someone sit on top of the sand burying her or him. But that kind of defeats the purpose of the sand burial image.
