Non Sexual Fantasies...What are Your's?

This is a fetish forum so we all have our share of sexual fantasies. But what about non sexual fantasies?

I have a recurring fantasy of building (I'm not a very good handyman by the way) a small cabin deep in the woods, ideally near a peaceful lake. I'd build a pier so I could go fishing and I'd maybe even have a canoe so I could explore the lake. I could go hiking during the day, and build fires at night to cook over. I could take my girlfriend for romantic getaways, my buddies for weekend retreats, or I'd go by myself just to get a way for a bit.

The cabin would have no electricity and there'd be a small porch with a hammock so on warm nights I'd sleep out under the stars. I might even try to hunt and prepare my own food. I dunno, that's just something I've always dreamed about

I have a fantasy of living in a beautiful rural area and having a barn with one or two antique trucks or traction engines and being able to bring them out each weekend over the Summer so that others can enjoy them - particularly, I'd like to participate in the London to Brighton Run and be able to share this with a love one/friends. And then once the show is over to participate in the evening celebrations and jive with my loved one to a genuine trad jazz band, before retiring to a hotel and making our way back the next morning.

It's definitely a realistic fantasy so hopefully if I save up and increase my skills and knowledge I'll get there!

My other fantasy is to play tennis at Wimbledon and be a grass-court legend like Roger Federer or John McEnroe, utterly immersed in the traditions of the great palce - this is not so likely, but at least I'm decent at Badminton!

Both ideas sound dynamite! I especially like the Tennis idea. Visiting Wimbledon and the U.S Open are on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing!

I don't know if this can/will happen, but.. I hope it will someday, even if not right now.

Oh I have a lot. One would be to have a retreat in the mountains somewhere, the Alpes or in Japan. To be able to go skiing any day of the week or bathe in a big long jacuzzi with indoor and outdoor access. I love Japanese design and would like the interior to be a mix of Japanese and Western styles. And the living room would have a fireplace and an enormous glass wall with a breathtaking view of the mountains.

I'm very passionate about my writing and would like to some day write a book that makes it to the big screen. I daydream/envision writing a story that ends up in the hands of a movie director. For the last couple of days, I keep getting calls from this weird number and for the last couple of days I don't answer the phone. Finally, I decide to answer:

"Hi, can I speak to The Listening please?"

"Speaking, who is this?"

"Hi The Listening, this is so&so from Columbia Pictures. Have you ever heard of us?"

"Hi, yes, I've heard of Columbia Pictures."

"That's great. So I'm sitting at my desk and I have a copy of a story (....) you wrote a little while back. I think it's fascinating and I was wondering where you came up with the idea to write it? Do you always write like this?"

"I try to. I can't really describe how the idea came up, I just.... do it.... I think about it and if it sounds good, I write it."

"Interesting. Well I'm going to be honest with you, I really think this would look great on screen and I think we should talk about this a little more? I mean, I think you might be on to something here."

"Well I'm definitely glad you like my story. What did you have in mind?"

"Well I was wondering if you could make it out this way some day soon so we can talk about this story and see if we can negotiate something to get it put on screen. This would be a tremendous opportunity for you to showcase your talent -- imagine if people come out in drones to see it. For us, we make a ton of money and of course you can too. Are you interested?"

"Yes! Most definitely."

"I understand you're probably a hardworking man and have bills. But we can definitely work something out if you can cover your hotel we'll cover your air travel. Now The Listening, this doesn't guarantee that anything will come out of this. But like I said, I think it's well worth the visit and I think the story is definitely strong enough to go on screen which is why I'm asking if you wouldn't mind coming out here? I would love to hear more about it in person so we can an idea of what we would need to make the transition on screen as smooth as possible."

"I'm definitely interested and I would like to come out and visit."

"Great, my AA will take the call from here and she'll set you up with everything. Hang on, I'll transfer you...."

Opening a no kill shelter for all companion animals in this area. There are a lot of rescue organizations but they all have to rely on donations and there's never enough time or money to help as many of them as I would wish. And help fund it with low cost spay/neuter on one side, a reproduction clinic on the other. Kind of a dichotomy, but I do love some of the beautiful pure bred animals out there.
