haha, I know. 🙂 I used to go to Louisiana quite a bit, and tried living there once. And yes, kidney beans. Even my dad put beans in his, although he never measured out anything in any proportion whatsoever so it tasted differnent every time. I miss his chili. 🙁

Sorry about your dad, i miss mine also. 🙁 We have known some crazy Cajuns and they are good folk but their chili is sadly lacking. They should stick to seafood and alligator which they do quite well. 🙂

But beans in chili is an abomination. If caught doing that here, one can be stripped of citizenship and banished to Oklahoma, also known as Hell on Earth. No worse fate can befall a Texan.
