October, A Tough Fall, Falling Short, But, Unexpected Support

The Good Guys came to the end of the year on a good note, winning the division by several games, and then advancing into the playoffs, with the goal to defend their title of the year before.
The National League Division Series opened on a Wednesday in Paradise, against the Astros. Kate Hudson, of course, was the starter. She pitched brilliantly, six innings, only one run allowed. The bullpen did it's job, and the Good Guys got just enough runs, to escape, with a 2-1 win. Gil Bellows had the ball on Thursday afternoon, and, he, too, shut down the tough Astros attack, three hits, no runs, over eight innings, in a 3-0 victory.
After an off day on Friday, the teams met in Houston on Saturday night, where the Good Guys sent Charlize Theron to the mound. Charlize got bashed, allowing five runs in three innings, en route to a 5-0 loss. Kate Hudson would pitch again on Sunday, and this time, put the hammer down for the Good Guys. In front of a hostile crowd, she fired eight shutout innings, allowing only two hits. The Good Guys got only two runs, but they proved to be enough, to finish the series, and eliminate the Astros, with a 2-0 win.
The Good Guys flew back to Paradise, where they had three days to rest, before opening the National League Championship Series, against the hated Mets on Wednesday night. Gil Bellows opened the series, and threw very well, allowing only two runs in seven innings, as the Good Guys had their hitting shoes on, and got five runs, in a 5-2 opening game victory. Charlize Theron would pitch Game Two. After a bruising in her Division Series start, Charlize pitched extremely well, permitting but one run over six innings, and hitting a double to boot, as the bullpen took over, and the Good Guys rode it home, to a 3-1 win.
After an off day on Friday, the teams met in New York on Saturday night. Kate Hudson was given her first start of the series. She pitched well, allowing but one run in eight innings. The Mets, however, were better, as their starter John Maine shut out Paradise, on but one hit, and the Mets got back into the series, securing a 1-0 triumph. Bellows would pitch again on Sunday night, facing Tom Glavine of the Mets. Neither pitcher had his best stuff. Bellows gave up three runs in six innings, and Glavine four runs in seven innings. The bullpen came to the Good Guys rescue again in the ninth, as Hillary Duff got out of a tough situation, to get the save, and close out the 4-3 Good Guy win, putting them one win from the World Series. Monday's game was over early, as Charlize got hit hard for the second time in the postseason, allowing four runs in six innings, as the Good Guys got none, and fell, 4-0, giving the Mets their second win of the series, and sending the series back to Paradise.
No one was particularly concerned about the loss at Shea, as the experts just figured the Good Guys would come out, bash the Mets over the head in Game Six, and move on. Sniderman also had a decision to make. Did he dare swtich the rotation, pitch Gil Bellows in Game Six, and Hudson in Game Seven, thus sacrifcing his ace for the World Series, or did he stick with the rotation? Sniderman chose to pitch Kate for five innings in Game Six, and then throw her out there on Saturday night, with only two days rest. The Good Guys, however, were not even in the game for five innings in Game Six, as Kate got hammered early, and the Good Guys took a 13-1 thumping, to even the series at three games all. Paradise's fortunes to get to the World Series were resting on the shoulders of Gil Bellows. He had been the man so far in the post season. Bellows was up to the task, allowing two runs in seven innings. Met starter Tom Glavine was just as good, allowing two runs in seven innings as well. The game was tied, 2-2 in the eighth, when Mitch hit a homer to give Paradise the lead. Hilary Duff sealed the deal in the ninth, and the exhausted Good Guys had a seven game thriller over the Mets, to be crowned National League Champions, and head to the World Series.
Unfortunately, that year, the Good Guys couldnt even rest. They had to fly to New York that night, and open the series against the Yankees on Saturday night. It might have been, advantage, Paradise, when Saturday dawned cloudy and wet, and rains beat down at Yankee Stadium, postponing Game One until Sunday. With Game One pushed back to Sunday, Kate would have three days rest, and would start. The Good Guys came out with their hitting shoes on, trashing Yankee starter Andy Petitte, as Kate was just Good, which was all she had to be, as Paradise came up with a 12-1 opening game win. Game Two was played on Monday, and the Good Guys could follow their regular rotation, as Gil Bellows started. Gil allowed but one run, and two hits, but Yankee starter Chin Min Wang was better, shutting out Paradise on one hit, to give the Yankees a 1-0 victory.
The teams flew to Paradise, with no off day, and Charlize Theron vs Mike Mussina on Tuesday night. Charlize was good, allowing only two runs, but Mussina was masterful, permitting but one hit, in a 2-1 Yankee win that shifted the pressure back to the Good Guys. Hudson would oppose Pettite again in Game Four. This time, both pitchers were very good, as Kate allowed two runs in seven innings, and so did Pettite. In the eighth, the Good Guys scratched a run off the vaunted Yankee bullpen, and Duff made it stand up, for a 3-2 Good Guy win, to tie the series at two games all. Gil Bellows, the Good Guys savior so far in the postseason, would oppose Wang again in Game Five. The game sailed along, scoreless until the seventh, when second baseman Russell had a ball go between his legs, scoring a run. One run was all the Yankees needed, as Rivera came on, and did not falter in the ninth, stunning the Good Guys sellout crowd, as the Yankees had taken two of three in Paradise, and put the Good Guys on the brink of elimination, with a
1-0 Yankee win, the second 1-0 Yankee win of the series.
The teams flew back to New York for Saturday night's game, with the Good Guys knowing they had a mountain to climb. Charlize Theron was the starter, and wanted to find some way to survive, to give Kate a chance on Sunday night. Losing two out of three in Paradise, after stealing a game in New York, had been a vicious blow to the Good Guys. Charlize did as well as she could, but ran into a third inning buzzsaw, allowing three runs on two doubles. Mike Mussina was nearly brilliant for the Yankees, allowing one run in six innings, and then turning it over to the bullpen. In the ninth, Rivera came in, leading by a 3-1 score. He allowed a couple of hits, and a run, reminding Yankee fans of the heartbreak of the previous year. Then, leading by a 3-2 score, with Mitch the hitter, Rivera made the right pitch, and Mitch hit a lazy fly ball to right field, that was caught for the out. The Yankees had redeemed themselves. They were baseball's champions that year, defeating the Good Guys in six games for the World Series. Paradise had nothing to be ashamed of, but, looking back, they knew they might well have won the series, if they hadnt dropped two of three games on their home field. Now, their season ended in disappointment, the Yankees having taken their championship away.
After the Good Guys spent time in their clubhouse digesting it, they spoke to the media:" Sure, it's disappointing. I congratulate the Yankees. You have to give them credit, they won two of three at our place, after we stole a game up here. I dont want to make excuses, but maybe the series with the Mets just took holy hell out of us. That and not having home field. The two best teams played, and this year, the Yankees were the best, but, we're great, too, I'm proud of what we did this year. Now, we'll accept the National League Championship, and come back to get em next year, and hopefully stand here as Champions of the World again" Mitch said, speaking for the disappointed Good Guys.
After the team flew back to Paradise, they held one last tickle party on Sunday night, before everyone would scatter for the winter. The featured lee would be a dark haired beautiful foot fetish model, who admitted she had mega ticklish feet. She was tied hands and feet to the bed, in the middle of the fetish club. Second baseman Russell began the tickle on the model's neck with fingers, as her head shifted, and the giggles began:HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! NO! Working down, Center Fielder Ed Burns was next, tickling the model on her underarms, sides, ribs, and belly with fingers, as she bucked, and squealed:HEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Moving down, left fielder Dawson was the next ler, tickling the fetish model on her hips, inner thighs, and knees with fingers, as she continued to thrash:HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEEHHEHEHEHHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEEHEHE! Finally, Mitch was the last ler, tickling the fetish model on her soft, wrinkly feet. He attacked her feet with fingers, feathers, ice, and an electric toothbrush, over her soles and toes. The model went beserk, wiggling her toes every which way, and squealing with laughter, begging for mercy:HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHE! OMG PLEASE NO MORE! MY FEET ARE SO TICKLISH! I GIVE UP! NO PLEASE NOOO! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHE! Finally, the tickle ended, and the fetish model was untied.
So, it had been an October of disappointment for the Good Guys. Now came the long, cold lonely winter. There would always be next year, and what of Mitch and Naomi? That situation had been quiet through the postseason, as the couple focused on baseball. Now, center stage would return on that topic, and another season would be soon to come for the Tickle Team From Paradise Island.

The End

Well a tough loss in the final stretch there but at least they made it all the way and had a good showing. Not necessarily up to par with last season's performance but everyone losses one eventually. I look forward to the next one and the start of a new season.

Thank you, happy, your support is, as always, appreciated. Yes, the ending was not as good as last season, but, I figured it was appropriate for them to fall just short, as they had won it all last season.
As you know, stay tuned, there will be more to come, with a new season, soon, within the next day or so.

Mitch

Good story Mitch, i like reading stories where they have more than one person tickling the ticklee and so far this story was one of the them. 🙂

Thank you, armpit. Actually, if you enjoy stories where people are tickled by more than one tickler, you should check out some of my other ones, as the format is often the same. The tickling baseball team holds the tickle parties, where the lee is often tied, and tickled by several lers. They can be found by going into the story section, and doing keyword searches, like Good Guys, Paradise Island, Naomi, Mitch, etc.
Thanks for the support. Hope all is well.

Mitch
