When's the last time you bought a box of cereal and what was it?

About 20 years ago and it was Kellogg's Corn Flakes. (I resisted buying Sugar Frosted Flakes.)

Do you ever eat hot cereal for breakfast and what kind if so?

No the only cereal I very occasionally eat is the honey nut cheerios mentioned above.

Would you rather eat a slice of cheese pizza or a slice of chocolate cake?

Ace starting pitcher because I don't want to get physically hit like in football.

"The Shining" is my favorite (and became an excellent movie, too).

Stephen King. I've read more of his books than any other author.

What's one book you read about an athlete?

"Koufax" by Sandy Koufax, published in 1966. I have an autographed first edition. The autograph (obtained at an autograph show) cost more than the book.

Have you ever read a book about a baseball player?

Yes, Derek Jeter.

What'd you think of Derek Jeter was a player? (Some say he was overrated and some say he was underrated)

I think Jeter deserved to be in 14 All-Star games and deserved to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Also he deserved all of his Gold Glove awards.
So, he was not overrated, and, given all that recognition, he wasn't underrated either.

Who was the best pitcher you ever saw, in person or on TV?

Pedro Martinez. As much as I don't like the Red Sox I felt he was one of the most dominant pitchers of his era.

Do you think Pedro Martinez or Randy Johnson was a better pitcher?

Pedro Martinez was better and the Dodgers traded him away for a journeyman middle infielder. I have always believed that Fred Claire, the GM who made that trade, should have been shot at sunrise when Pedro won his second (of 3) Cy Young award.

What is one player that you are sorry the Yankees traded away?

Andy Pettitte...although he was never officially traded they let him sign with the Astros. They always overlooked him. And then he came back which was awesome and won yet another World Series with the Yankees.

Who's the one team you could see win the World Series this year that nobody is talking about much?

What's one baseball team for which you feel sorry that they're doing so badly?

Chicago White Sox...being the 2nd city team is hard enough when you're good.

How much is the most you have paid for a baseball ticket?

$1,540 for Game 7 of the 2017 World Series in Dodger Stadium, purchased via StubHub. That was for a seat in Top Deck, the nosebleed section behind home plate. Decent field level seats were over $10K.

Last Thursday.

How many different restaurants do you go to almost every month?

I'd say only 1 I really go every month.

What's your least favorite food to eat out?

Vegan. I have had to go for a meal at a vegan restaurant only twice. I wished that I had been able to bring a sandwich and eat in the parking lot.

What is the largest group of people you were with in a restaurant? (By group I mean one check for all the people.)
