Oh.... so Battleship, the game, is now a movie.

At least for once they aren't just making a movie based off a book so they don't have to actually use any imagination to create a story. It's already been written!

But even then they get them so terribly wrong. Best recent example is the Golden Compass. There's no hope for movie's future.

Well, they already made a "Minesweeper" movie, so i'm not surprised.

Indeed. This idea of taking inanimate objects and turning them into movies is genius though. There is no story to get wrong in the first place.

Why can't they just start making movies where things just blow up for 90 minutes and just call the movie "Boom".

Or well, I guess that was Transformers 2.

I saw this trailer when I went to see Cowboys & Aliens last weekend (Which was a great movie by the way, everyone should see it...five times!) But I couldn't figure out what this movie was the entire time and as soon as the title came up there was silence followed by me lifting my arms into the air in front of the theater just saying, "What!?...wha...WHAT!?" The entire theater started laughing.

The battleship should be named "Rosebud" to really twist the cutlass!! Maybe the double feature will be "Twister" (the game, not the weather event) starring the Kardashian klan!! The really bad news of course is if it doesn't "sink" at the box office the first week, other game based movies will appear faster than you can work your pop-amatic!!

Ok...the Bushemi-Operaton pic looked pretty doable. Seriously...I could totaly see that. if it was based somewhat on the actual game...ok give this a try for a sec...he removes organs from victims without anesthesia using a 500,000 volt pair of giant tweezers that were rubberized on the ends. They can scream all they want but have to stay still because if any other part of the tweezers touches anything else they get electocuted to death. Steve Bushemi? Oh hell yea!
