Kay so like yeah, TMF Radio is up and running and stuff, and having recently managed to sort myself out with broadband for faster interwebs I've finally managed to catch up with all the archive broadcasts and it is... good. Fishpope approves. The one thing I have noticed, however, is that we British persons are woefully under-represented. I mean come on, Canadians have their own programme and we don't. CANADIANS. So what I was thinking was, would any of the fine British persons that kick about here be interested in getting some sort of British radiola programme up and running? It might not be practical because it'd mean having to stay up late or get up early to get a decent listening base or what have you, but I reckon it'd be a fun thing to do. We could start talking about the Welsh and trade unions and David Cameron and confuse the yanks and cannucks with things that are normal to us.

Yeah. Anyone interested?
 
I personally think it's a concept that should be considered.

We have you, Hari, Artoo and a few others over the pond..

Also BigJim and a host of others ..Libertine, Kittentoes and many many more.....

It would be great to see this happen..and if not staying up late or arising early perhaps we set up a UKTMF radio and you folks do broadcasts at reasonable times for you and we stay up to listen or catch them in the archives....

I think the sharing of the differences and similarities in community life here and abroad would be informative and a delight to the whole community...

I will also speak with Rob and Lee this week to see what they think can be done....

If you do set up a uk time on the radio, please don't call it UKTMF, enough people are confused with TMF and UKTF without adding another acronym inbetween.

Yes I know the accents of people like Vernon Kaye and Tess Daly and Sara Cox sound all exotic and wondrous to you southern pansies, but at the end of the day they're all just pie-eating Lancastrian woolies with three-star jumpers half way up their backs who like Super League too much.
