So, if you saw Dark Knight this weekend, there's a pretty good chance you caught the Watchmen teaser.
I'm curious about general reactions. As far as the look of it, there was basically nothing to complain about, everyone looked exactly like their drawn counterparts, and therein may lie the problem. What works when drawn won't always work when filmed live. The idea of a 20 foot tall blue man incinerating Vietnamese peasants just looks vaguely ridiculous in live action, no matter how good the effects are. So, other than just initial reactions, I guess my main question is, do you think this story may not be filmable?
