In the west- Oilers vs. Avalanche - Even though I'd like the scrappy underdog Oilers with McDavid and Draisaitl, the Avalanche are on another level, and I think they top the Oilers in 6.

In the East- NY Rangers vs Lightning - Again, the upstart Rangers are a fun bunch to watch but, the Lightning are going for a Threepeat. I'll take the Lightning in 5.

As for the finals- Avs versus Lightning, it's going to come down to the goaltenders - Darcy Kuemper for the Avs and Andrei Vasilevskiy for Tampa Bay. It's going to the distance, and I think the hottest team of the season is going to top the hottest goalie in the NHL, Avs in 7.

Your thoughts?

Called the Oilers/Avs series, but the Avs closed it out 2 games earlier. Called the Lightning/Rangers but missed by 1 game.

For the cup, missed by 1 game but called the champ! Congratulations to the Avs!!
