interestingly enough we are situated on the front of a cul de sac, all the houses as of last night on our little street were without power, except my house, my house is the only house that is attached to the main road off our street that leads to the school. Somewhere around 11-11:30p last night all the trucks came with big lights right outside our house! Oh well, had to deal with midnight noise for the better of our neighbors. Since we had power back before the rest of the block we were offering showers in our house. 2 days without power was enough for me...but I feel terrible for those still dealing with this situation in CT and other areas....

Glad to hear from ya'll, especially the VA folks as I'm a little ways west of RIC. Power went out Saturday around 6:30, was restored Sunday around 2:30. 6 trees down, One of which hit the barn roof. Much yard debris, but it's cleaned up now. I was able to cut the grass earlier this evening. Gonna be tracking Katia and pray we don't have to go through this again.
