So, with UCLA upsetting USC, who goes to the Championship Game against Ohio State now?

My feeling.....Florida. Plain and simple. USC is a two-loss team now. Michigan has already lost to THE Ohio State University and I just do not support a rematch no matter how much the alumni scream for one. Florida deserves thier shot. Shit, when Rutgers beats WV, they should maybe get a shot at the title, but we all know that ain't gonna happen. Already talked about that.

It has GOT to be Florida. Can I hear some luv for the Gators? :triangle:

Beat me to it Dave.......I dont know now. I was hoping USC would lose but didn't think it would happen, if there is a rematch Ohio State I think would smack Michigan by a lot - I'm talking major blow out but if they are #2 they deserve there shot (again).

Your right about Florida (who are looking good against Arkansas) really they are the only other option.

How about some love for Boise lol

As a UCLA graduate I must say this is an very happy day for me. Way to go UCLA. Way to go. 😀 As for who plays Ohio State I think it will depend on how by how much Florida can beat Arkansas. If that game is close they may not get the nod. If they lose I think Michigan is a shoe in for the bid.

OK um Arkansas is winning now late in the 3rd quarter.

So, if Florida does lose.....they've GOTTA give it to Rutgers or Boise, right? RIGHT?!?

I will just wait to the final whistle to comment on the winner now lol.

I would love to see Boise to get some love but I am thinking the BCS are protecting them to a degree.........it could end up like 70-0 against Ohio State.

Priest

Yeah, probably.

Anyway, it looks like the Gators got this one wrapped up, so the major upsets end with UCLA.

I stand by what I said, the National Championship game should be Ohio State/Florida.

But, that's just me. :triangle:

Even though I'm a huge Michigan fan and believe that they along with Ohio State are definitely the two best teams in the country, I believe Florida should go to the championship game. It's fitting to have two conference champions battle for the BCS title. On local sports radio here in the Detroit area yesterday they made a good suggestion, which was that the BCS should require each of the BCS conferences to have a title game, the Big 10 (11) doesn't. If they did there wouldn't be any controversy. Some will say the Michigan/Ohio State game was the championship, but OSU didn't play Wisconsin this year, and they're sitting at what, #6 or 7 in the BCS? You can't say Ohio State would win that game because you just never know.

If the BCS picks Florida I hope they have Michigan play LSU. The BCS claim they don't like rematches, we'll see how true they are to that comment. Michigan and USC have played how many times in the Rose Bowl? Most recently just two years ago..

Well, someone finally listened to me! YAY me! Just kidding....

It looks like cooler heads prevailed and things worked out as they should. OSU and Florida in the BCS Title Game. At least Boise got a major bowl game, which I'm happy about...

....but Rutgers in the Texas Bowl?!? God, this proves my theory that even if they'd been the only undefeated team in the country, Rutgers would have gotten screwed out of a title shot.

You just cant get around Rutgers weak schedule though.

LOVE LOVE LOVE FOR THE GATORS!!!
I just hope its a good close game, and that Chris Leak doesn't throw 15 interceptions. Maybe everybody else that was hurt will be back and they will be 100 %. I don't think anyone expected Florida to blow Arkansas away, they are a good team and won their side of the SEC. Florida might be a little sloppy sometimes, but they usually don't give up and find a way to win. I hope they rise up and do that in the championship game.

THE RISE OF THE GATOR NATION IS HERE!!!

go gators..
