Sometimes when I read a story or anecdote here it sparks a memory.
This story goes back a couple years ago and I don't think I told it before. One of those fun / funny moments that sticks with you.
We were at a party being hosted by a friend and many, many mutual friends were there. At their home there are those tall, bar type chairs that they have around the room. Often someone sitting in on of those will be behind a sofa and use it as a footrest. If you happen to be sitting on the couch you turn around and someone has their feet back by your head. (See where this is going? 🙂)
I happened to be in that position when a very dear female friend plopped her feet next to my head. I turned more out of surprise than anything and she said "Are my feet bothering you?" I replied "Of course not" and ran a finger up her sole making her flinch and pull away. She put her feet back and as I continued my conversation I would occasionally reach back and tickle one of her feet. Each time she would flinch and giggle and pull away...then come back. After the third time she said "If my feet are bothering you I'll move them!" I told her she was fine. After the fourth time she said "I'm ticklish!" and I replied "That's not my problem..." After a couple more quick tickles she finally took her feet away.
More recently *I* was the one with my feet up on the back of the sofa. A mutual acquaintance, who was not sitting there when I sat down, saw me came over and did a quick tickle to the middle of one foot. I saw her coming over so was prepared and didn't jump out of my skin. Disturbed that she didn't get a reaction she said "Not ticklish today?" and ran a finger up both feet which forced me to pull both legs back and glare! LOL!
