On the News

Late one night, about 3 am, I was channel surfing, and had stopped on our recently acquired 24 hour news channels, and there was a headline that said "Adios AOL", but I didnt get to hear the report and havent been able to find anything on line about it either. Did anyone else hear/see anything about AOL dying?

i don't want AOL to die but as an internet provider it stinks. 🙁

AOL is a disgrace to ISP and the internet as a whole.
They are on internet life support and eventually will be a distant memory sometime in the future. Fiber optics and cable broadband will take over along with Satellite service for computers which is available now to some areas though Satellite service providers of Television. Direct TV and other Dish networks do offer it as we speak however it is rather expensive, for now.
