one of “those” days…

ever have one of those days when tickling just kind of seems to push it’s way ‘front-and-center’ of your life and mind? I definitely had one of those days.

to start it off, at work today, a friend from my teens, who I wrote about here (if you’re curious, the link is here http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=538&highlight=sister* ), showed up out of nowhere. I didn’t even recognize him at first… but he sure remembered me… it resulted in me being picked on about being flirted with… and about how someone SURE remembered ME… for the rest of my day at work!

that alone was enough to fluster me every time I thought about it… but it gets worse…

this part is going to sound like a made-up-penthouse-letter or something… but… a good friend of mine is a lesbian and recently found herself very much in love. tonight, when her significant-other was out of the room, she proceeded to tell me about how she rolled over the other morning to bite her honey on the neck! and all about how “cute” it was how ticklish she was and how much she loved her helpless, giggly reaction! They are so freaking cute together and it was such a sweet moment to share! I got all choked up, and worried about not over-reacting all at the same time, that it was ridiculous.

just had to share that. 🙂 it’s been one strange day…

Ahhhh, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just go with the flow. When people out of our pasts make a re-appearance, it tends to throw perception all out of whack.

Give yourself a few days to take it all in, and then reconsider the situation.

I'm working everyday with a young girl who's always finding a way to get into a "ticklish situation", so that's a developing story...I know where you're coming from. When our special passion takes a forefront in our lives, we need to try and see the forest for the trees.

I haven't figured out yet whether it's more fun to have a day like Ayla described, where she's hearing second hand about such things, or making these things happen yourself. When you have the kind of day Ayla had, it really sticks in your mind. However, if you are the one making the action happen, it can literally stick in your mind for thirty years...
I guess I answered my own question, didn't I? It IS one in the morning, after all 😛

well, it stuck in his mind for 20 years anyhow! at one point, while we were talking, he said, "wow... I think the last time we saw each other was on that camping trip..." and grinned at me. I was ready to crawl under my desk! 😱
