*Now I'm living up to my screenname.
I know many or all of you folks are joking to some extent,
but I've always felt a bit sorry for her sister, actually, on the rare occasion it's crossed my mind
(except that she inherited the beauty, between the two) since she may very well be embarrassed by "Paris'" ridiculous spotlight-grabbing,
and probably suffers the stigma of being "the other Hilton sister.." Kinda hard to be taken seriously...With that mother & Paris for a sister, I'd be mortified & looking for DNA enhancements.
It's sort of a life sentence in itself.
ALL that money, and nothing can save (Paris') reputation for sheer idiocy worldwide... 🙄
As far as
imprisonment for this girl -- Probably the best thing for her, a *real, brief "reality-check," before she does any more damage to herself or anyone else while driving.
I'd even feel a bit sorry for her as well if not for her arrogance, since she hasn't been raised
with the necessary experiences to survive in a *normal middle-class environment, forget jail.
Those "reality-TV" programs I didn't watch were undoubtedly more mortifying proof of her utter acquired uselessness.
The funny thing is, Marie Antoinette was supposedly seriously shocked that everyone else didn't have cake to eat.
Then again, she was far more sheltered than Paris, who has open access to the rest of the world... and therefore far less of an excuse.
But it *is a little like taking one of us everyday middle-class U.S. citizens,
who're used to having supermarkets, running clean water, air conditioning (and computers)
--and telling us to spend a month in a squalid, hot, remote 3rd world village with none of the above, though if we deserve it that's another story.
(And yes she SHOULD be grateful it's not 6-12 months...)
I'm not excusing her but I also can't say I'm not spoiled myself, many of us can't
even if we have to work till we're 85, if we make it that far
(though continuing to work is healthier in some respects...)
I just REALLY wish every damn jail sentence didn't automatically include an expectation of rape of some sort, regardless of the crime.
Someone goes in for tax evasion or smoking pot and doesn't deserve to come out ripped open various ways, traumatized & possibly AIDs-ridden.
I agree, Paris needs to go to jail, and I DO empathize with this rant, her "fame" is offensive to (this country & its citizens)
but we also desperately need prison reform.
More (well trained and *accountable) guards, videos, I don't know. Less inmates would be better, but until better schools/social reform are implemented, the situation is reeeeeallly barbaric.
Anyway, so as not to depress anyone further I'll bet there'd obviously be quite a line up if she were given the option to serve the time in public tickle-stocks

for 3-5 hours a day....
