OPINIONS: Best Bondage Gear

I will be doing a session in a matter of days, and I could use some help from the members here. I'd welcome opinions about bondage gear.

I'm trying to choose a handful of accessories and I'll appreciate some suggestions.

!. Hog-tie gear: I've seen several ready-to-go kits but I don't know which work best.

2. Spread eagle: I know there are a number of restraint kits for doing spread eagle, including one that was posted here, which could be placed beneath an ordinary mattress on a floor. Maybe someone will know what I'm talking about.

3. Neoprene Velcro cuffs: There are a zillion of them online and I'm hoping someone here can point me to affordable, effective ones.

Any replies would be appreciated as I'm thinking of placing an order tomorrow or Saturday.

I prefer furry cuffs since they are comdortable to wear and they are still made of metal (depending on where you order them from.) I've had bad experiences with velcro as in i've been able to escape from them while thrashing around a lot. Leather shakles are really good to use with hogties. And as for the spead-eagle, I know what you're talking about, the restraints that go under the bed for the arms and legs. They work pretty well but if the person has a bed posts or a headboard, maybe you could use plain rope or cuffs to restrain their arms to the headboard above their head. Personally, I recommend leather restraints over all else, as the most versatile and durable, regardless of position. One thing to remember, though, is that they're like belts. They're not "one-size-fits-all". Depending on the tightness/looseness, you might wanna insulate the inside with a sock or handkerchief, or something, to minimize potential rubbing irritation. My ankle cuffs can be a little loose on me, so combine that with thrashing, and the darn things can dig into your skin if you don't put something soft there. I also had to make my own holes in the leather so that I could get them snug enough.
