Oscar-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch dies at 68.

Incredibly talented, just about everyone likely knows much of his music, even if they don't know who wrote it. R.I.P. Mr. Hamlisch.

He was supposed to come here for a live performance but it was quite suddenly cancelled. I guess it must have been about the time he took sick.

I'll forever associate him with the soundtrack to The Sting.
