Other Fetishes/Obsessions

I just got to thinking that this is a tickling fetish/obsession* community, which makes us a minority group that the general public doesn't really understand - so I've been wondering about what other fetishes or obsessions we might have that people have been known to criticize you about. I just confided in my other topic that I have an obsession (I'm not sure if I'd call it a 'fetish') with crying, as well as feet tickling. As I was typing it, I was worried that even some of you might think badly of me because I have a thing with crying - which I hope doesn't come to that, as my thing for crying and my thing for feet tickling make me a part of two minority groups. I mean, I've been flamed at in the past for those two interests.

So, anyway, I've started this topic, so that we could all list our 'weird' fetishes or obsessions without fear of being judged or flamed for it.

* I'm a little reluctant to call my feet tickling obsession a fetish - because I am a part of a minority group within a minority group that does not associate feet tickling with sex.

Well in sociology studies the reason anyone would think badly of someone who's sexual interests are deemed "weird" is because they could potentially harm the survivability of the human species. "Or" people are just ignorant and with ignorance comes fear and intolerance. I guess for me a sexual interest is okay so long as it revolves around another adult human being. Bestiality, wanting to screw trees, a pedaphile (sp) are all just so wrong in my book <shrugs> The opposite of that is that I am also credited for saying that I believe that people who only like vanilla sex are either A not quite human or B at the most optimistic view on that, they are just very uncreative when it comes to what they like in sex. It seems to me that the animals just screw they don't have fetishes, but maybe i'm wrong, if not then a fetish is IMO another thing that sets us apart as special from the natural world.

My philosophy kinda reminds me of in Dune how the Bene Gesserrit (sp) woman had to test Paul to see if he was "human."

Well I have a foot fetish, and a tickling fetish. I also find myself attracted to hands, noses and ears. And I'm developing a thing for under-arms....

Tickle4444 interesting you mention crying. I too find crying to be beautiful; I don't like pain, and it saddens me to see somebody I love in pain, but something about crying is... I don't quite know how to explain it. I think that I find any (non-distructive) expression of emotion to be a beautiful thing.

My gf finds it easy to cry (God bless her), and she sounds just as beautiful crying as she does when she's laughing... I told her that once, and she found it comforting; so now I make it a point to mention it whenever she cries (which thankfully isn't often). I think it cheers her up, knowing that I appriciate her, even when she's feeling crummy and messy and "puffy in the face" lol.

So maybe I have a crying fetish too... I dunno, I think I'm using the term "Fetish" very losely as I don't find it a turn on, I just find it beautiful...

I definitely have felt like I was very strange for liking tickling. Luckily, I have found a girl who is ok with trying it with me, (Up to this point the amount that I have actually gotten to enjoy it during sex has been very very minimal), and I am VERY excited to do so.

I do, however have a few other strange fetishes. I don't necessarily ever want to indulge them, but they interest me slightly.

I always felt strange - and before I grew up a bit, sinful - for liking tickling the way I do. The select few that I've told in person didn't criticize me, per se, but they thought it was strange, and didn't really understand. I've noticed that my other fetish, which is spanking, was much more understood and accepted by those people. Which prompts the question...what makes spanking "mainstream", and tickling not? There had to be a time when spanking and tickling were both 'underground'. What, do you suppose, caused spanking to become accepted while tickling (and other taboo fetishes/obsessions) stayed misunderstood?
