Someone just emailed me about Tickling City. Anyone hear of it?

I saw tickling city once. You can't view anything without joining, and it seems that gmail (or yahoo, I don't remember. I tried both) accounts are auto banned. Or they know of me in advance and banned me somehow. Either way, I tried registering with the email that wasn't banned (I dunno if it was gmail or yahoo anymore), and never received word from them. There also was a contact admin button that should have sent an email to them, but I never got a response from this either, so I wrote them off as not being worth the time or effort.

You have to be invited to join TC, is what I was told. I'm a member there, but I haven't been on in quite a while. It's very quiet and much less active than here. I don't prefer it, but if you do, see if there's a way to email an admin and ask to join.

Tickle Theater is actually a good site. I go on there sometimes.

I stick to the TMF. Occassionally, I might drop into TT to see if there's anything unique to the site that we don't have here (aside from the abundant childporn) and to occasionally drop a plug for my site.

The TMF, as I said in another thread, is my home.

Definitely prefer UKTF to TMF, mainly because UKTF is focused on actually meeting people in person and getting to know people, rather than watching videos and pictures.

It's just so much easier talking to people once you've met them in real life.

As for me personally, this is my home. It's the first forum I felt comfortable enough to join and I know more folks here than in other forums. But, I do visit others here and there.

For those asking about Tickling City, it's mainly focused on a more hard core experience. I'll keep my opinions to myself about the membership practices and overall environment other than to say that you aren't missing much if you just want to hang with friends and have a little fun. That's not the focus.

The reason for the restrictions on Tickling City prior to being a member was because when it was an open membership like this place, there was a period where there was literally over a hundred spam postings and flat out porn threads and posts. It had to be stopped somehow for it took the mods(myself included in this) two weeks to rid the site of the spam and porn and it was decided to place some restrictions on open joining. 99% of the porn and spam was coming from gmail, thus the flat out hold or barrier on that specific account or address.
As it is now, out of say every dozen who attempt registering and awaiting approval, 8 are from bogus accounts or from attempts to gain access to post porn which was obvious when checking out the initial profile of those attempting to get through. Not sure why this all was happening but when you logged into the site and saw over 50 pornographic posts a day, it had to be stopped somehow. It even got to the point where some who got in to the site, unrestricted and unmoderated, was posting child porn! That could not be allowed to happen even on a basis that..."hey we will catch it eventually and then remove the posts and ban the member who posted it.
Porn and child porn can not could not would not will not be tolerated even if it only appeared on the site for 5 minutes! It had to all be stopped immediately.
As for your other problems on not getting approved when you are obviously not a spammer or one who is attempting to slam the site with porn or posts containing viruses(another major problem back then), I have no clue as to why that has occurred. Some ISPs had to be banned as well when research found that they too were either bogus or of those who were just plain no good or had/have malicious intentions.
I am not the owner of TC. I am just a moderator and co administrator who along with the other mods and co admins, are just trying to keep out the bad seeds, riff raff, porn and other nastiness from gaining access.

Actually, Moses and Noah are also allowed along with almost any Apostle with the exception of Judus. Peter is questionable but we would need to keep a close eye on him.

Seriously though, I honestly figured the situation you described was the main reason for it, but found it strange that of the three or so I know, that only one would be hit like this. Still, I've seen it happen on some of my old, decrepit guild forums a year or so after the guild disbanded; site wasn't down but there were tons of new messages from spam accounts. It was ridiculous.
