What do you guys think of my Packers now? I have always believed they could beat most of these teams, and beating the Chargers proved it. Next up Minnesota, so Green Bay should be the favorites this week. Packers are making the playoffs this year I think, they just have to work on there running game more, but Favre looks great. what do you guys think?

I'm glad Green Bay is playing well. I think they'll make the playoffs too. I'm not too sure if they'll win the division. Have to see how they do against da Bears.

im definately surprised at how well they are doing. i thought they would be NFL doormats again this year. they cost me alot of money today dammit.

I think what this does show (after both Chargers and Bears losses today) is that both of these teams are not as good as once thought.

Also makes me wonder about how good the Patriots are.
Wins over a terrible Jets team, a hapless Chargers squad, and a equally terrible Buffalo team.
Next they have Cincinnati (who has no pass defense what-so-ever) and then Cleveland.
I dont think the Pats will be tested until they play at Dallas Oct. 14th.
And if they think they can beat Dallas like they can the Jets, Chargers, Buffalo, Cincinnati and Cleveland........WOW.
The Pats have the luxury of playing in possibly the weakest division in football. I dont think its going to help them much in the second half of the season, though event that is a weak schedule with the exception of games at Baltimore and against Pittsburgh.

The Pats are not pretenders like some of these other alleged NFL powerhouses. the Pats are the real deal. if they can stay focused on each game mentally and not have ant let downs, they can easily go 16-0. :bowing:

As a long time Packer fan, I'm surprised by the way they are playing; but I'm damn sure enjoying it! GO PACKERS!

your right hootus, I'm a lifelong Packers fan as well, I am kind of surprised they won as well. I am pretty confident now, that they will have a winning record and get into the playoffs, next up Vikings, where Favre will probably break 2 more records

Hey TF, got a story for you. I am a little older than you, 51 to be exact.

In 1966 my dad got tickets to see the Packers play the dallass cowpatties in the Cotton Bowl. The 1966 championship game. Well I was the only kid in the North end zone rooting for the Packers. When Bart Starr threw that touchdown pass to Boyd Dowler or Carroll Dale, I can't remember which it was now, the one where the reciever got flipped in the end zone, if you have seen the film. I stood up and cheered and got bopped on the head by at least thirty programs! I still hate the cowpatties today! LOL

Since then I have been back to the Cotton Bowl a few times to watch the Oklahoma Sooners whip the texas shorthorns asses on a regular basis.
