I know Jake has a decent QB rating, but after his disastrous performance against the Cardinals in the playoffs (and his tendency to blow big games in general), should we ditch him?

If so, who would be a good replacement? We seem to have good players in nearly every other position, but Delhomme is kind of holding us back, it seems.

Some people have joked that we should get Romo, but he seems to have a lot of the same problems Delhomme has.

It's not that easy. Do you really think the Cowboys are looking to trade Romo. They have to use logic with making such a decision. Every QB in the league won't be on the table.

I say that their best option is the draft. Draft a young QB to groom for the future. Although, that reminds me, you guys did take Matt Moore from us and he played well for us during the very brief time he was on our team. He's going into his third season and he definently will be an option.

I think JD will start for the Panthers for 2-3 more years though.

The Romo remark was more a joke than anything. I don't think the Cowboys will be letting him go, but I know a few Cowboys fans that apparently would like him to go.

Matt Moore is an interesting possibility. The draft is probably the most likely option other than holding onto Delhomme. I just wish they'd let him go....

I like Delhomme, but eventually you have to start to get younger at that position. Unless the Panthers move up in the draft I wouldn't take a QB this year because the only good ones in this draft are Stafford, Sanchez and possibly Freeman. I think they should wait till next year to look at a QB when the draft is going to be flooded with good quarterbacks. You will have Bradford, Tebow, McCoy, Harrell and there will probably be some other good juniors who come out or seniors who make a significant gain. This year the panthers don't have a 1st round pick so I wouldn't think about taking a late second round quarterback. Wait till next year when the Quarterback depth will be deeper and then start to improve the Quarterback situation.
