there is some great stuff here

i really like the ones of the game show where the girls are being tickled by the robot (or possibly someone in a robot costume)

i assume they have to try not to laugh for some amount of time... as there is a timer at the bottom of the screen

and what a great idea to have a camera always on their face in a little inset screen so one camera can follow the tickling robot appendages, yet her face is always visible ready to catch her first giggle

it would be fun to pitch that game to some tv exec over here "ok, so we get a bunch of pretty girls, dress them in small garments and then someone dressed as a robot tickles them, and they mustn't laugh"

I have the Endurance dvd, and it is pretty out there. Only a few choice giggles, but a couple of the girls were really sensitive. Only wish they would have had the piggies go after the girls' piggies...

Some excellent observations, i_bloke. The pics are so small that you must have had a magnifying glass. It appears like the timer you alluded to is counting down (a minute?). Like you said, they probably have to refrain from laughing for the duration of that time. I agree that the mini inset screen is a great idea; one of the Japanese video co.s did the same thing to good effect in those 'Box' videos.

Great stuff Mica...

I just have to rant here about how the Japs have us Yanks beat by miles when it comes to good tickling material, yet try to buy a Japanese tickling video. You can't.
The Yank tickle-merchant-formula-houses (CalStar? Galaxy?) tie some overweight grandma to a chair and run a dimestore yellow featherduster over her left knee, then try to sell the pos video for $50.

Me, I trundle through Japanese sites at 45K, punching little colored square boxes that look like they will take me somewhere, only to wait 60 seconds and find myself staring at more little square boxes, asking myself 'why am I here ?'
Then I get miffed and run out to the patio for a cigarette.

I picked up the Endurance dvd and a vhs tape called Kusuguru Boxing from the J-List web site:

It's a site run by an American who makes both Japan and California his home and he imports all kinds of cool Japanese products into the US. Some items ship from his warehouse in CA, others come directly from Japan.

The Endurance dvd and the tape were just miscellaneous items he had at the time I checked his website, and I think I purchased the last copies he had of each item. I just checked the site as I was writing this, and there aren't any tickle related items there at this moment (there is any adult dvd which mentions tickling, however, but I doubt it has much in it).

They send out a really cool e-mail update two or three times a week that you might want to sign up for. You can also e-mail them and see if they can't help track down specific items as well. I haven't made use of the service as yet, but it might be a possible source to get hard-to-find Japanese tickle related material.

Rexx... the Kusuguru Boxing video features two matches, each has a girl with boxing gloves versus a guy who gets to tickle and grapple with her. Both matches are approximately 20 minutes long.

The first match is really cute because, as the girl is very ticklish and doesn't know how to fight that well, so she ends up being grappled, taken to the mat and tickled a lot. It also has a very playful tone to it, kinda like it was a boyfriend/girlfriend playing thing.

The second match, however, is a absolute hoot because that girl DOES know how to fight, and she proceeds to pretty much kick the crap out of the guy (not my cup of tea, but still funny as hell to watch). He does manage to get her a few times really well, and manages to get her to submit in the end.

I'm not aware of any company that distributes any of the videos displayed above in the U.S. I was really surprised when Hahathna announced that he owned the 'Endurance' DVD. Such is the nature of most of the stuff being produced in Japan.

Out of curiousity, is this the Kusuguru boxing tape you own, Hahathna?

I really was not aware of the fact that Japanese material and tickling videos was so prevelant. I guess it's because it is so hard to find and every harder to order!

No, I posted everything I found. There were more pictures with bugs, but they had nothing to do with tickling (ick). I could dig up links to them if you wanted them. I assume you're asking about the ones near the bottom of the list because I think there may have been some insects in amongst the Japanese TV pics, as well. However, these pics were small, so the bugs had to be super small
