An unnamed mother in St. Louis has been sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison for allowing her daughter, then under 12 years of age, to be sexually abused in exchange for cash. 55-year-old Joseph Champion, who pleaded guilty to molestation, took a lesser charge of 15 years for agreeing to testify against the mother. Champion and the daughter both testified that the mother was present when the abuse happened in their own home.

You know stories like this really make me think. There is no stopping a woman or a man in becoming bioligical reproductive organs (I will not say parent as the person mentioned in this story is not a parent!).

My husband and I who so dearly wanted children went through alot to be able to have the privilege to adopt, rightly so...we went through fingerprints, background checks, homestudy, financial examination, etc. Parent is a term that should be saved for those that truly love, care and nuture children.

Too bad there is not a way to prevent people from having children and unless they are judged fair in character...

I agree, kis. the children of the world are the most precious to God and should be protected.
