The press room was adjourned, Belichick would not return
And while Brady limped off like Groucho Marx
The Giants celebrated in the Park, and Pats fans were left in the dark.

When Tyree fought off Harrison and the swelter

and even though the score was 7 to 3
We all knew they had a chance
The Giants could outlast.
And while the Pats were on the field
The Giants pass rush refused to yield.

Pats fans hands were clenched in fists of rage
Pats fans screaming HELL
This has to be an evil spell.
And as the refs arms climbed into the night
Leaving just 35 seconds in the fight
Giants fans began laughing in delight
The day.....the Pats dream.........Died.

And I asked them for some happy news.

the lovers cried and the sport geeks dreamed
But not a word was spoken
For all their dreams had been broken...
And the 3 men they admired most,
Brady, Belichick and Moss of course
They made a quick escape for the coast....
