I tend to visit the story section alot, especially on this site because the stories are usually good. But i've noticed something. I tend to do it as well, but it has to do with stories not gettin finished. I was curious. There are some stories Id like to see continued. First is Sara's Capture. I think alot of people have been waitin for part 3. and the other one is My Russian Lips are sealed starring Anna Kournikova. If nobody is goin to continue to write these stories, I was thinkin of takin over. Now idk if i have th write to do this since i didnt write the first ones, however im jsut tryin to get the people what they want. And if there are any talented writers out there, which i know there are. Could someone write some ticklin stories about Ashley Massaro from WWE.

Thanks

Yes its true, a lot of people start stories and never finish them. Usually its becuase they don't have the time, or they forget, or they simply get bored with them. Personally I try not to end a story with a cliffhanger or with it being only halfway done, that way if I don't want to write another one I don't have to. But I understand what you're saying, I've wondered the same thing before.

random...

Youknow what I miss? Josie the ticklish pussycat

like wtf happened to that site? it was really great.

sorry. random.

Ticklish Witch,
Yep, Josie was a good writer, and assembled/bundled some of the first big batch of online tickling stories together in the old site.

But Josie's gone; dropped out of the 'scene'. There's a whole 'nother thread going on about that a couple days ago right here.

It also has to do with the idea that some writers have no idea whether a story is liked or not because few people comment on it. A good way to encourage people to write more is to give them feedback, positive or negative.

I agree, tickledorange. If I write I story that I think is halfway decent and no one responds, I think it must not be very good. I realize not everyone responds, and I probably don't enough when I enjoy a post, but no feedback lowers the inspiration to write more.

As a fan of the story forum myself,I tend to agree with Tickledorange and Jerry.I try to give some sort of feedback or response, but on occasion,I may be busy and don`t have time to type a quick response.I do apologize for that,as I can imagine the frustration of not knowing whether or not anyone cared one way or another about your hard work. And yes, writing is difficult, even if it is concerning a subject we all know and love.

My hat is off to all of the many talented people who take the time to put their wonderful imaginations and experiences down for us to enjoy. You people are the best, and I thank you all for your efforts! :bowing:

May all of the authors and writers here be inspired to keep their works coming in the new year! :santasmil

Yep, I agree.

I wrote a short series and got a lot of positive feedback. (Felt good!)
I got busy for a time IRL, and by the time I got back to it I kinda ran out of inspiration.

Guilty of that myself. I got everybodies hopes up with my TMF: Facility of Correction idea, wrote 2 or 3 "Episodes" and then bailed. It wasn't on purpose, I just couldn't get on the comp with out 2 or 3 people buzzing around me. Now I've sort of lost my rythem so to speak and can't get back into it. However that doesn't mean that I don't plan too.

Absolutely, you guys hit it dead on. If you don't get feedback on a story, you assume that nobody liked it, so you have less of an inclination to write. Thats one of the reasons I try to comment on stories that don't get a lot of feedback.

Unless you've done a good deal of writing yourself, you've no idea how true this can be. Getting little or no response to a story posting tends to leave one thinking "Why bother?" I've posted stories under other names and in other places that I didn't bother posting the rest of because people weren't responding. But, if I'm interested enough in the story, I still finish it for myself...whether I post it or not.

That's something related that might be interesting to explore. Why do the authors here write? I'll start another thread so we don't take this one off topic.
