Last weekend I was at a major outdoor concert event in New York City and as I approached the gate I was a bit taken aback but also delighted to see how thorough the patdowns they were giving were. They were literally running their hands all over people's bodies and I stopped to observe to see if any tickles occurred.
I did see one - the woman performing the patdown ran her hand down the girl's left side and she literally jumped and yelped and then skipped away, as if the energy of the tickle was such a surprise and scary that she had to get out of there.
Mine tickled my stomach a little bit.
I was with an ex-gf at a concert a few years back where the patdown tickled her like crazy and she squirmed and made faces and almost laughed.
I know, from googling this topic, there's been a lot of to do made about the new airport patdowns, although surprisingly little on the internet about people being tickled by them. I haven't experienced one yet, but they sound pretty invasive, and sound like they would tickle people like CRAZY.
Anyone else have experiences or thoughts to add on the subject?
