Pedicures

Well I am going for my second pedicure this weekend. I highly reccomend it. Even though I am a guy, and totally straight I love it. I find it relaxing, and fun at the same time. The only time it tickles is when the lady scrubs my soles. The place is a typical place run by Asain ladies who speak the language to eachother the whole time. When they are scrubbing the soles they have you put your feet on this stool, but use velcrow straps to stabalize your ankles. I never saw this done and asked what they use that for the lady said it prevents her from getting kicked in the face if the person is ticklish. So when she started scrubbing my feet she noticed my toes curling and looked up at me, smiled and said "ticklish" I nodded holding in my laughter. It seemed that she enjoyed it. The place was empty except one lady getting a manicure. She seemed to look at me funny seeing a guy getting a pedicure, but I did not care because I was far from anywhere that I would see anyone I knew. I think guys getting pedicures is getting gradually more accepted. I hear alot of women talk that they think it would be great for guys to get them. Do any other guys get them here. And what are the ladies thoughts?

Everyone should splurge on a pedicure every once in while. It's hygenic, relaxing, and then your feet look so purdy! I almost always get French pedicures with little white flowers on my big toes. It dresses you up a little. Tee-hee...

Shygirl has been wanting to SEE me get a pedicure for quite some time now. She just wants to SEE me squirm and giggle I think. This past weekend while walking the boardwalk in Atlantic City, there were a couple of places that gave massages and foot massages....she tried to get me IN one of them every time we walked passed them.
She definatly had/has other motives behind her requests.

I have yet to get a pedicure or manicure for that matter.
IF I ever do get a pedicure and she is around to see it. She would probably push the pedicurist away and attack my feet herself ending the process right there.😱 😉

I think its awesome when a man takes the time to properly groom himself. That includes manicures and pedicures. I would not look strangely at a guy getting this done although I might want to play footsie!! LOL, seriously as a gal who likes tickling men I adore nice feet on them.

Oh and Ed, I wouldn't mind helping Patti give you a proper pedicure!! LOL.

The only thing I've had in my life was a professional manicure. I used to get them when I was younger. I've never had a pedicure, and dont plan to.
Someone on here mentioned massages, so I figured I'd add my "two cents" for whatever its worth. I've had quite a few professional massages in my life, mostly when I was younger. In my experience, they tickled like hell! Maybe that was just me. I used to go for massages with my father when I was a teenager, and it was embarrassing to lie next to him having the massuses massage both of us, because the massage would tickle and it would be difficult to refrain from bursting out laughing! I had always wanted to ask many of my massuses "The question" but didnt for obvious reasons, because it would have been embarrassing doing so with my father sitting right there!
I dont remember if I ever posted this, so forgive me if it's a repost, but I have a friend who is into yoga, ( a guy) and a few years ago I attended one of his classes. There was a pretty lady in the class who was a massage therapist named Candy. I asked Candy if she ever had any clients tell her massage felt ticklish to them, and she told me that massage can indeed be ticklish. Of course as everyone knows, the next question I wanted to ask her is "Are you ticklish?", but I stopped myself for obvious reasons. It's probably a good thing I did. He told me that he has gone to massage sessions with her, and before the massage she makes you sign a form saying no sexual advances of any kind, or the massage ends and you will be asked to leave. After that, I figured it was probably a good idea that I not ask her the question, because she might think it as a sexual advance. Candy is a beautiful lady, petite with dark hair, nice feet pedicured toes (I saw them cause she was barefoot at the yoga class) My bet is that Candy is probably really ticklish, she's a very relaxed person, or seems so, and she just "looks ticklish" as someone on here posted that people can.
Anyhow, I hope this isnt a bit off the subject, it isnt really about pedicures I guess, but since someone mentioned massage, I thought I'd post, for whatever its worth.

if, after one of her fingers have inadvertantly caught you, you laugh reflexively, and she shakes her head, you, as a retort ask, "oh yeah! How ticklish are YOU?" Would it constitute a sexual advance? I think not.
I don't think I'd get a pedicure. What I would do, however, is set up a row of bleacher seats and charge admission to the rest of YOU to watch pedicurees go through their paces LOL because we all know that's what we all want to see

I get pedicures every two weeks or so, mainly because I go barefoot so much. My friend works at the salon I go to. It's a little out of the way, but she gives me a discount. The lady who works on me, Maria, know me, and how ticklish my feet are, and, over time, has concocted several ways of making the procedures as ticklish as possible! The first time she worked on me, and my toes were wriggling, and I was gasping and squirming,she asked me what Mitch refers to as "The Question". "Yes" I said. "I'm quite ticklish!" Then kind of shyly added "But I kind of like it." She smiled at me, and now sneaks in little tickles on me whenever possible. I wonder if I should start a thread: "Do you think your pedicurist tickles you on purpose?" I don't want to hijack this one!

I wouldn't waste money on a pedicure because I have ugly toes.

However, if Knox sets up bleachers where Tiffany is getting her pedicure, I'll buy a seat.
Heck, I might bring a lunch an make a day of it!

It's ironic that this topic has come up. Significant Other and I are huge fans of Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," where 5 style experts, who are all gay, make over a rather desperate straight guy. They are doing an incredible service by emphasizing the importance of careful grooming for straight guys who would otherwise not want to hear it from the women in their lives. Happily, Significant Other is a classic "metrosexual"...a straight guy who gets facials, manicures, etc.
That being said, there is nothing as repellent to me as a guy with miserable feet. I don't care if your toes are shaped like mutant toadstools. Fix 'em up, for God's sake! Women love that, and you'll probably get a little cootchie-coo in the bargain.

Yay! One of my friends just called me and suggested that we both go get pedicures together tomorrow! Oh joy, oh rapture... Funny how when I know I'm going to go get a pedicure, I start grooming my feet, cuz I want them to look nice.. FOR my pedicure. I don't know what you'd call that. An oxymoron? Not really, but you get it, right? Mwah!
