Pens vs. Hands

Has anyone ever noticed how some people seem invincible to human touch, yet the humble ball-point pen drives them insane? It is quite funny, but annoying, as I am a person who like to work with their hands.
Anyone else sympathize?

Pens just feel uncomfortable to me, fingers all the way 😀

Pens are insanely ticklish!! 😱. Hari is right though, its more of an uncomfortable kinda tickle. One I tend to avoid as much as possible.

Perhaps because a pen tip is slightly pointed it creates more of a sensation on the foot, compared to a finger, due to more pressure being exerted through a smaller surface area? Mebbe, just a theory 😀

Pens are pointy and sharp and kinda hurt. I've heard that felt-tipped pens are better, but I have not yet had the pleasure.

Pens can hurt, my wife isn't a fan of them. Sharpie works great though. Hands are still her and my fav though.

Pens can tickle the sole a lot if dragged along and not poked at all. The same is true for the tines of a plastic fork.

see pens don't tickle me at all... start using a pen i get bored, fingers i'm never bored...

personally i'm a firm beleiver that 'variety is the spice of life'. pens or other sharp tools such as forks or knitting needles as someone mentioned, can be helpful in unlocking your lee's ticklishness. once you've opened that door even a crack ( lol) everything will tickle him/her, even things that might not normally tickle. it's all in the mind! i think strategy is in order, always, also threatening your lee with devastating tools such as pens might work miracles. then when you only use fingers, he/she might be initially releived, only to find that he/she is now helpless against just about any type of tickling! and if you THEN switch to 'mean' tools...boy oh boy! just the sight of them might trigger a flood of giggles, pleas, etc..before anything's even happened!

Yeah I would think pens would be too pointy, whereas Sharpies are more rounded out. Paint brushes FTW. lol

Hands! I prefer my tickler to use their hands most of the time. The ONLY tools I ever wanted to be tickled with are hands, feathers, brushes - gotta' love those stimulating bristles! - and lips. (Tickle kisses are super hot!)
