Hi guys.

Have you ever been surprised at the things vanilla people say about tickling, that you don't expect them to say without prompting? Or how honest they'll be about ticklishness, saying things that a tickle-lover might be self-concious about saying? I know that's kind of vague so here are some examples, off the top of my head.

I was talking to a friend about her boyfriend last week, and she randomly came out with "He pins me down and tickles my bare feet!" (to which I could only reply "oh I would never do that!")

Or when I was tickling a friend and she said "it doesn't do anything on the heel. But it tickles more under the toes." and soon after, "this foot is more ticklish, do this one"

Or when I asked someone if she was still as ticklish as she used to be, and she said "yeah but i like being tickled, I feel good afterwards".

It sounds like you, simply put, have awesome friends!! I actually don't have too many vanilla people in my life who make comments about tickling at all.

I've noticed that before. I've even had a co-worker say to me once that it would be funny as hell to just pin me down and "tickle the shit out of me!"

Some people still like tickling, or being tickled, even if they don't have a fetish for it.
But I imagine we're more suceptible to picking up on otherwise innocuous remarks by such people, due to our own passion for it.

Back in high school I had conversations with quite a few females about tickling. Very attractive females. Got to actually tickle a few of them too.

School could be fun sometimes.

Yes, this has mostly been my experience too. I'm actually not surprised at the things they say anymore because most 'vanillas' in my experience find tickling as a form of social bonding, intimacy, flirting and/or foreplay.

In fact, I can only think of two people off the top of my head who genuinely do not like being tickled. One of them was a friend I knew in high school and another in college. Both of them said they didn't being tickled because it was just too easy for them to lose control of their bladders. No trauma or anything like that though.

That's what I wanted to say!:dancingbanana:

There are quite a few people on this forum who view tickling in that way, as well. And even more who see it as both playful/flirtatious and sensual/erotic. 😀

You're very lucky to have friends like that. :feets:

Down the pub there was a drunk girl i had a whole friendship based on the fact that every friday she'd sit next to me on the sofa and put her feet in my lap and id tickle them till her friends came and rescued her. She moved away *emo tear* 🙂
