Tonight klru (our local PBS station) is airing a documentry about this folk trio with interviews of Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey. We lost Mary September 16 2009 at age 72. I love folk music, and Peter Paul and Mary are a favorite of mine. R.I.P. Mary.

LOVE PP&M. Saw them in concert in 1990 - it was fantastic! One of my favorite all time groups. Thanks for sharing Bug 🙂

Fucking Communists!... I liked the Hamster song though.

I remember hearing their version of "Blowing In The Wind" when it first hit the top-40. I didn't know until much later that it was a Bob Dylan tune. Dylan's version was all right. PP&M's version made you want to cry.

Then there was "Puff, The Magic Dragon". Didn't take long before some wags started whining that the song had drug references. Some things never change, do they?
