You want it to be therefore it is. I will agree after its off it probably helps a lot though in truth I doubt there is any link between skin softness and how ticklish a person is.

If only I could get everything I wanted just by willing it. But for real, if lube / oil didn't make someone who was already ticklish even more so, then it wouldn't be so widely popular and I don't have a habit of hallucinating so I really doubt it's a case of imagination. Doesn't mean we have to agree. I don't think there is a link between skin softness and ticklishness either, but I do think a person with thick ass callouses is not going to be able to feel much of any kind of sensation.

Can you cite any scientific studies stating that oil, etc. reduces sensations? If not, then its just an opinion.

All I know is my wife who has very soft and very ticklish feet seems to be a bit more ticklish when lotion is applied to her feet. She has NEVER seen a tickling video so what is her influence? I never said a word to her that it would make her more ticklish.

Crap_game-> This is true, I've seen several girls who have never heard an explanation for nylons or lotion applied for foot tickling that felt much more intense effects for the tickling due to it. To say it was mental fundamentally wouldn't make sense.if by some stretch of fantasy it is mental...then it doesn't matter it still works so who cares?

Also the first time I found out about a lube/hairbrush combo on feet I simply had it done to me at a gathering without an explanation before hand. Applying oil or lotion to reduce friction does work, whether for mental reasons(not really reasonable) or by physical reasons(much more reasonable).

Either way, it works. It's definitely not just a gimmick.

Exactly, my wife has never watched a tickling video either, but when I put lotion on her feet and tickle them her sensitivity is higher than normal. Almost without fail it makes her more ticklish. She admitted that exact thing to me.
