.php files

I'm seeing a lot of preview vids- even when the link indicates they are valid video format- keep coming up as *.php files. Is this a problem on my computer or something new going on with the site. It's not just this site, so I'm wondering if there's a problem on my end.

What internet browser are you using? The PHP file should be processed on the server side and the correct file sent to you. There was a time when a few browsers (Firefox in particular) downloaded files somewhat improperly, resulting in those PHP files you are seeing.

You may wish to try using a different browser. If that works, you can either stick with it or try to fix your usual browser (by upgrading it, for example).

MSIE 11. On some other sites I was told that I must manually add some sites to the compatibility list. I tried that and it worked, though it seems that something like that shouldn't be happening in the latest update of the latest version of any-damned-thing. Damn code monkeys, again, I guess.

No problem here on Chrome 32. Which browser are you using? If IE, try it in "compatibility mode."
