Pick Up Lines

This thread was inspired by DarkAnime after his (hopeless) attempt to get Val to tickle him through a pick up line (Come on dude, you knew it was never gonna work).

I wanna see how many pick up lines everyone can come up with. Post them whether you think they will work or won't work.

Here is an example pick up line! 😛 I don't think this one will ever work but you gotta admit, it sounds sweet.

"If I had a rose for every time I thought of you, I would be walking through my garden forever."

or they can be just plain awful like:

"Is your name Gilette? Because you're the best a man can get!"

Lets see what you all can come up with!

The one about the roses is indeed nice. It reminds me of what the 18th century playwright Richard Brinsley Sheridan said to a young lady of whom he was enamoured: "Come into my garden, won't you. I should like for my roses to see you."

And actually this is particularly fitting, because this whole thing was started by that guy, who tried to get together with Val, who is married. 😛

Good on him though for trying. But it does help to do your homework BEFORE you try, and actually use a pick up line that works!
