Yes, but that's a personal definition of sex versus a societal one. If the question is: would your significant other condemn you for tickling your child? Then the answer, based on society's views of sex and tickling, should be no.

Ultimately, I'd say that if you aren't comfortable with it, don't do it. If you want to do it, but are worried about the way others will view it, I'd say the odds of conflict developing from it are very small, since your SO doesn't view it as sexual the way you do. It's probably a non-issue for them.

I thought the question centered around whether it was a good idea if say a spouse new how you usually felt about tickling. I may have been wrong.

To be honest I think everybody should know themselves how tickling a child makes them feel. If it results in sexual feeling, the person should definitely not do it!

Usually, a spouse should be able to see what reaction someone causes on their partner. I mean - I realize when my partner is horny. So there would be no suspicions, I would be able to tell if it aroused him or not.
