Please pray for a friend (surgery)

A friend of mine (a member of this forum even) goes in for surgery on January 4th, this Thursday (most likely today depending on when you're reading this), for some heart and lung related surgery. She is supposed to arrive at 7:30 am Eastern Time at the hospital, but the actual surgery doesn't start until about one or two hours after that. For the next year or so she will have one like this every 6 months.

For those of you which aren't atheists, I ask that you pray for her well being. Thanks in advance.

Oh my gosh am I loved!

Wow, I had no idea that my friend posted that about me until he actually gave me the link to it. And the responses were fantastic, thank you so much everybody! To go into a bit more depth, I was having surgery on my heart, my only lung, and my arteries. I was born very messed up, heh. But now the doctors are fixing me, thank goodness. And this is the second of like 5 surgeries I believe. And this time they went into my body a different way, so the recovery was faster and I get to go through another surgery within the next 2 months instead of every 6 months. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing since the surgery does have major risks. All my friends and my family members keep telling me I'm very brave to chance this. So me, it's like a crazy spontaneous adventure; go figure. But it all turned out well for me with the second one so far. So once again, thanks so much everyone! And I love Sigma!! He's actually one of my best friends now, hehe.
